MONDO figs look great, I think we can all agree on that, but are they really worth the price tag? I mean after all these are only figures (yeah I said it), the new He-Man looks great, I would love to have it, but can it ever be justified paying $260 for 1 figure? I’ve been eyeing up the Me Freeze fig for a long time, but I struggle to justify the $150 price tag that came with, now I’ll probably never get it with scalper prices. Has anyone got any MONDO figs and did you experience any buyers remorse?

I don't own any.

Once you start adding up the paint apps, materials, and all the accessories. Plus the smaller production run. Yeah you start to see where all that money is going.

But some reviews point out some paint issues in that if you pay that much I'd expect the paint job to be PERFECT.

I guess it depends on what you want it to do.

I have the version 1 he-man, skeletor, and mer-man. They look fantastic, and no issue with paying the premium for them. If you want it, you’ll pay for it. Never 2nd guess my purchases. Life is too short.

Yep same, if I’m paying that much for a figure I want everything to be perfect too, I guess it’s the risk you take with any purchase, but it feels different with this as I personally think they are a bit overpriced, so if I’m paying more then what I think it’s worth I want no issues at all.

I used to own the Mondo TMNT Leonardo figure. Overall, the figure was really nice. The paint apps, the accessories, and the articulation were all great. The only issues I had were the hips wanted to stick a little bit and the swords were a tight fit in the scabbards. And that could be chalked up to either my copy or Leo being the first action figure Mondo made.

I did have buyer's remorse though since Neca was releasing their 1/4 scale TMNT movie figures at the same time. While the Neca figures didn't have all of the accessories as the Mondo figures, they were cheaper AND bigger.

I paid over the odds on a DC Direct Batman Beyond three pack with old Bruce Wayne and Ace the dog, and I mean way over the odds, I had remorse for a long time over that one. Love the NECA TMNT cartoon figs, they look great and are reasonably priced
