Agreed. I mean leto is not a good actor, this looks like it was made for sci-fi (i refuse to use their stupid spelling currently) and not even good. It doesn’t even look sharknado level “good”.

I am actually pumped for the movie, my hope is that it goes dark and stays dark. He is a complex character that I hope the movie does justice to

I thought the trailer did it justice but they need to quit delaying and just start releasing these flicks on demand somehow. The whole movie slates are going to be upended forever now.

But that aside, if Sony must dig into Spidey to use the I.P. there are worse they could do than this...

Also looking forward to whatever Leto winds up doing with the new Tron.

Morbius should be scrapped, burned and the ashes flushed. Nothing about this movie looks good at all.

Looks great to me. I have very limited exposure to Morbius. His appearance as a bit player in Maximum Carnage, a few other issues of Spider-man, and the 90’s cartoon. He’s never been a character I’d consider making a movie of... but I said the same about Aquaman and Shazam, and I loved both of those.

Sony did a fantastic job with Venom (imho) and Into the Spiderverse, so I have every confidence they can make a decent movie out of Morbius. He’s a character they can embellish without pissing off many fans, because I highly doubt there are very many “hardcore” fans of Morbius.
