The Iron Man stuff of course is awesome. While the figure of Tonto looks nice and accurate and all that, I'm not sure many people would buy it since it was a huge flop at the box office. But what do I know.

The problem is that licenses like that are secured months (if not longer) before the movie is ever released. Meaning when they started working on this, there were no hard box office predictions yet. Actual tracking of a film is a slow build up, so when they started working on Tonto, the film was likely thought of as a potential huge hit.

Yeah that's probably true. I hope HT doesn't take a hit on this figure.

dont worry they'll just make 40 more terminators/predators/ironmans and recover just fine with that.... SHRUG

hot toys needs to do more video game stuff. i mean a 1/6 scale nintendo character or capcom character, wtf is wrong with hot toys. their prices are starting to suck. no figure should be more than $200 in my eyes. i mean no figure.

where are my marvel first class character hot toys , that movie did good enough for a sequel......

The funny thing to me about The Lone Ranger is I didn't think it was all that bad of a film. Nothing mind-blowing or amazing - just a good western based on a very old story. I do think too much pressure was put on Depp to hold the film like he did with the POTC series. The protesting probably didn't help matters, either.

As it stands, that HT figure looks really good. But that's something I've come to expect from HT (and Sideshow, for that matter).

Iron Man is Iron Man is Iron Man. The Chitauri is an interesting choice, though.

Haven't seen The Lone Ranger yet so can't comment much on that one. But all the Iron Man armours are a massive want for me.

Would love to get the hall of armour display pieces but $800? Sheesh, probably will just make my own.

So, Heartbreaker Armour, Gemini Armour, Red Snapper Armour, Mark 42, Iron Patriot, War Machine MKII and I also remember them talking about doing the Igor Armour. Any others I've missed?

Can't wait for the Chitauri Soldier to go with my Captain America.

This just reminds me, when Avengers 2 comes out, HT Thanos.

I will give you a moment to let that soak in.
