Everything Mickey Mouse is collectors edition these days, kids have no idea who Mickey Mouse is anymore. When was the last time he had a new movie?

The last time I recall seeing him on the big screen was his cameo in A Goofy Movie. That must have been in 1996. But there's also been Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse for TV (early 2000?). So I think you are right. He's due for a movie.

And don't forget about (or maybe do) the current CGI series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It's geared towards kids for sure. But I am inclined to agree that Mickey is not the icon that he once was.
