For little $7.99 toys aimed at kids, these figures don't look half bad at all!

I dig these. The quality looks solid, the articulation is good, the price is right, and they include accessories. Between this line and the 4" Batman line, especially with the deluxe series for bigger characters, etc., this could be a big line that gives us dozens of different characters. Personally, this line appeals a lot more to me than the 7" McFarlane line, which, besides being an odd scale, is full of Batmen and Supermen, has inconsistent quality in the sculpts/overall aesthetics, and cost $20-$25 each. This 4" line is fun, imaginative, has a single cohesive line look/style for all characters, and is easy on the wallet. Unlike a lot of McFarlane stuff, they probably won't shatter in to pieces if they fall 2 feet off of a shelf, either. I might be "all in" on this line, or at least "mostly in" (Not sure that I'll need every single different Batman and Superman, but both of these Supermen look great, and very different, while giving us actual looks for the character, as opposed to "neon scuba adventure Superman.").

Yeah $8 for these is a steal considering that the less detailed, less articulated ReActions at this scale are about $20.

ReActions were kinda pricey at $15. Now that they're $18+ they're really almost not worth buying, especially compared to what Spin Master is putting out at less than half the price. Super7 needs to streamline their operations if they can't deliver affordable figures or just get out of the game altogether.

Everyone keeps telling me ReAction's prices went up because of the tariffs on China, but I have seen literally zero other figures bump up that high. Considering Hiya's stuff is essentially the same price for way more content, I'm very skeptical.

$15 to $18 is literally a 20 percent increase, which is a massive jump. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with China. I mean, the price of the Marauder Task Force figures hasn't increased- they just released their line of WW2 figures (which all look astonishingly awesome), and they're in the same price range as their previous figures. And Marauder isn't a big company...it's just some guys doing what they love. If they don't bump up their prices, then there's no legit reason for Super7 to do so, especially by 20 fucking percent.

If nothing else it’ll introduce a new crop of little kids to DC characters other than Batman and Superman!

Found the first wave on a target end cap on the backside. Grabbed robin and manbat. Went back to get more and they had pulled off the shelf and the employee told me they weren't suppose to be out on e sales floor yet. That there was a street date for them but he didnt know when that was.

Manbat rang up for 7.99 but robin didn't. But the cashier overrode and gave me it anyway.

For the price they are very good.
