Base body looks the same. And we know McFarlane likes a slight variant. So one with regular head and cape I can see coming.

They can be. Since this is the same base body, should swap. Only issue is the neck is armored up to chin.

In general I like both. I think the solid blue color from books doesn't translate well to toy form, this is the second one where it doesn't quite capture the epicness. I think there are Iron Man issues - raw plastic doesn't capture metallic armor looks well.

I think the XM statue did it well. Not mirror like, but metallic-ish.





I'll still grab it, but be wanting for more. A metallic version with some variance in the blues, light up chest, cape, human head - would be great as a deluxe offering.

We are but it's been Mcfarlaned with them adding all those tiny details.
Personally I think they overdid it.

Barring a variant you need to get both figures to make the Darkseid Lex, Superman Lex. And of course provide your own cape.
