Yeah, I saw these at Toys R Us as well. They look okay but, I'll hold out for the 3 3/4 size ones. I want figures that can fight against some of my other small size figs. Plus the paint on the 6'' ones just looks sloppy at times. Plus I can't get use to those eyes on Sub-Zero.

Yeah, I agree. I saw them over the weekend and just could not bring myself to buy any of them. They look like crap, unfortunately. And I really, really wanted to like them. Oh well. Hopefully the smaller ones will look better.

Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but it looks like MK9 4" Raiden has been replaced with Jax - see MK9 4" Figure Series 01 - Set of 3 - Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat 2011

Perhaps they're saving Raiden for wave 2?

It just occurred to me that the reason for the change might be because Johnny Cage and Jax can share a mold (although I would have said Jax should be more muscley), Raiden would need his own sculpt.

I guess at a push, Liu Kang could also share the mold.

Looks like 4" Raiden is back on the cards along with Baraka!: MK9 4" Exclusive Figure Assortment - Set of 5 - Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat 2011-2012
It says exclusive, I wonder whether that just means to BBTS?

If sold individually, the price per figure from this set would be $5.83 each. Not bad at all. IIRC, Scorpion is going to be a single release.

I'm with you. Under $6 per figure is great and all if you're planning on buying everything from this line, but for those of us that might just want a few,.. this is dumb. I want Scorp, Sub, and maybe a Reptile... don't care about the other ninjas.

I'd pay $25 for this set (if they look good in person when I see them), but that's pretty much it.

As a ninja set, Scorpion is a must since one of the originals.

Going by that pic, their hands aren't molded to hold weapons.

at second glance your right and is it me or do they look a bit stiff?seems with all the great looking figures being made these days these seem a bit lack luster.

6". The figures in the asst are Raiden, Sub Zero and Scorpion. There is also a SDCC exclusive clear, glow in the dark Raiden available at TRU as well.

As well as Rain, am I right in saying that's the only way to get Noob Saibot? (Based on the BBTS listings.) Also, is that Ermac in that pack, because I thought he (Ermac) is orange, the ninja in that pack looks red.

Is it a TRU exclusive?
