Still no pics of the actual figures? How can they set preorders for these without even showing the consumers what the product looks like. I'm stoked for this and I want to see how the figures look like. |

Just a heads up: Over at BBTS.com, the Mortal Kombat 2011 6-Inch figures have been given a release date of June. All the 3-4 inch figures are still listed as third quarter releases though ...

I remember those first MK figures from the 90's. They were basically G.I. Joe MK figures. I hated them even back then. Jazzware's hopefully improved the quality and detail of their MK offerings, since their initial MK figures from a few years back. Those were quite crappy. Here's hoping for some good Mortal Kombat action figures in the near future. |

Here's the latest I could find while scouring the web: BBTS, ToyWiz and Entertainment Earth all have the 6-Inch series listed for release in June (and BBTS only lists three characters: No Johnny Cage). ToyWiz has the 4-inch series listed as August, Entertainment Earth says September and BBTS says 3rd Quarter 2011. After playing the game I MUST OWN THESE FIGURES! Bring on the entire roster please |

Mk9 has released a new deluxe Kollector's edition of the game that comes with 2 sick book ends with 6'' figures of scorpion and subzero for an extra $20 it's worth it to get them along with extra dl content and artbook. Google Image Result for http://www.fear3.fr/files/MortalKombat/Kollector/MK9_Collector_ITA_PEGI_mock-up.jpg is the xbox version the ps3 version is different, trying to find an open package shot but can't find the 1 I seen, rather then using his sword the ps3 has Scorpion launching his dagger through the other bookend and piercing through Subzero's chest |

Man I hope we get Scorpion and Sub Zero's alt costumes! Alt Sub Zero is Bi-Han the original. Scorpion's alt is from later in the game and AWESOMEE. Also dig the "retro" Lin Kuei designs.

I know I'll buy Sub-Zero, which means I'll probably buy Scorpion. Johnny is, well, Johnny, and Raiden's head looks really weird to me. Seems off.

I want a Mileena figure in her 3rd alternate costume! Seriously though, even though I'm a tad disapointed in these figures (Raiden and Johnny Cage especially) I really hope Jazwares keeps the line going. I at least hope we get Shao Kahn, Kitana, Mileena, Skarlet, Kintaro and a new Goro.

Has anybody played the game? I have, I just bought it few days ago came with steelbook case from Futureshop, amazing game, but there's always a few dislikes here and there, for me the main 1 is they tried to humanize everybody, cyrax, secktor, smoke kabal to some degree, are all shown in human form in story mode, and johnny cage is pretty spot on to the character design in the game minus the headsculpt, it's a bit off.... I really dig the game, so much blood and gore and trophies haha. I think these toys will be great, not sure if I'd buy both 6'' and 4'' or just 1,but the main thing will be availability, if I spot them locally then yes they're mine, but if not online doesn't appeal as MU takes more priority for me. I want to see the robots... noob is sick looking and has 1 of the best fatalities in the game.. period.

I got the game the day after it came out and have pretty much played it every day since. I have beaten Challenge Tower, Story Mode twice and have unlocked everything in the Krypt. I love this game. My only complaints are about some character designs. Mainly Reptile's and Smoke's. I really wish we'd get a "human" Reptile again and Smokes hair just looks really stupid imho. His alternate costume is ok though. I'm also bummed they didn't stick with Shao Kahn's initial design from the first trailer. He looked much more bad ass. Still other than the complaints above and the fact that Kahn is still cheaper than hell, this game has been a blast.

I DEMAND an alternate Scorpion figure from the later stages! He looks more beast! The main thing I am surprised at is the lack of double jointed elbows and knees. Nonetheless, these do look better than the Shaolin Monks figures from a few years back.

Wow I am not feeling those at all. I think the older MK figures I have look better. I'll have to dig those out and compare them. Hopefully I will like them better in person. |
