Sometimes I just can't wrap my mind around why people still flock to theaters and pay $9+ to see movies like this. I worked at a theater for years, saw movies for free, and still didn't bother to watch half of the stupid shit that we'd get in. Side note: I liked Men In Black when it first came out, but i was a kid. Other side note: Josh Brolin was in Goonies. True story. Last edited by DogFashionDisco; 12-13-2011 at 12:08 AM.. Reason: added side notes for no reason |

				 | Quote: I agree with you, $9 to see a movie is a rip, plus if it's 3d it's like $12+popcorn and snacks and pop and for me also a cab there and back, to go to the movies is to spend like $50, I'd rather buy a blueray, 2 tubs of popcorn,2 bottles of pop and a pizza lol. I only go to the theatres if it's something epic that just demands the large screen, like watchmen, dark knight, 300, sin city. Anything subpar I download. edit: I added sme pictures from back in the day. http://www.toyark.com/watchmen-artwo...41/#post214203 Last edited by DogFashionDisco; 12-13-2011 at 01:24 AM.. |

Good or bad, I will probably wait for the Blu-Ray and put it next to the other two in my collection. Such is the life of the collector. And please no sequels to Hancock, thanks. I wouldn't mind another ID4, but I see absolutely no point in it either. Well, maybe to show how that world changed with the realisation that there really are aliens and they're mean little assholes. At least with MiB, it's an open-ended story because of the way they set up that universe - Earth is like a crossroads/travel hub and/or sanctuary. It doesn't hurt that it was originally based on a comic book, either.

I like MiB. I watched it just the other day. I think it is the new Ghostbusters more so than that movie "Evolution" with the guy from X Files could ever be.

I believe the story focused on Agent X, who escaped and was on the run from them, trying to find a way to stop them. Agents J and K were badguys out to kill him.

From a serious standpoint, yea, I may read them. I love the movies just because they are funny as fuck...to me. I am Canadian, we got strange humor..

Yeah... while I'd love to read the comics (I read *about* them while doing some research on the MiB Cartoon earlier this year. Maybe with the third movie, Marvel might see fit to put them in a TPB), I have to agree. I really liked the first movie, and I enjoyed the cartoon for what it was. And I think I prefer that set up for them over the comics.
