Yes. In the comics Kronis tried to take out Skeletor, and gets his ass handed to him.

They didn't prior to the 200X HE-Man and the MOTU Cartoon series. A certain someone at Mattel decided to merge everything into one messy contrived continuity.
In the vintage mini comics Trap-Jaw is accidentally transported to Eternia, already a cyborg.
The Keldor origin of Skeletor was hinted at in a mini comic near the end of vintage MOTU's run. (Pre-filmation cartoon, Skeletor was one of a race of people like him marooned on Eternia....seemed to happen a lot)

It says sold out. Was it ever on sale? It’s just like the movie turtles the other day. I caught the post within hours and it’s sold out.

This is close wbough to having an original toy face for skeletor. I hope we get the real thing in another Origins figure though
