lol I vaguely remember this bloke. Fun looking figure. Has that axe been used before? It's not a reuse of He-Man's like that sword is a reuse of Fisto and Tri-Klops'. I don't recognise that axe.

The axe came with Ram Man - cast in swirly grey plastic. Maybe it's painted for this release?

Wish we had forewarning for when this was going up instead of just springing it on us unexpectedly. I missed it by 3 hours and now it's sold out. They shouldn't have made it 5 per customer. I'm sure scalpers grabbed up a bunch for that reason. Will he possibly get re-released later in the main line on a different card like they are doing with Sun Man?

It’s says it’s a “first appearance look” so chances are they will come out with the same character but a different look. Just as we’ve seen with most of the Origins exclusives. I just missed ordering too, so frustrating…..

I like how we got a week or so warning for the silly Jurassic Park unbuttoned shirt Ian Malcolm exclusive figure, but no warning this was going up today. Some of us work you know, and aren't checking the toy sites constantly all day long to see what surprise new preorders suddenly pop up.

Looks pretty cool! Too bad it sold out. Like others have said, more of a notice would have been nice. Also, MAKE MORE! These things are always going to sell out fast, so I wish they would account for that for once. I do hope this ends up at retail in some form.

They probably made a fair amount of them, but letting people order up to FIVE was just stupid. Who needs 5 of these, other than scalpers hoping to flip for profit, which is likely where a lot of these went to. I just hope they don't pull this surprise preorder crap when Wun-Dar goes up too and I miss out on him as well.

Oh yea just do a eBay search they are already listing the figure as a preorder for 50 and up.

Sun Man IS coming in the Masterverse line. Mattel already showed him a few weeks ago...

Like mini comics Tri-Klops, a few more will be available just a briefly and just as randomly timed.

MATTEL are idiots or clever jerks laughing all the way to the bank. I mean, who cares if everybody who wanted one didn't get one or two, as long as it sold out? That sort of thing never KILLED interest in collecting a toy line, right? (Star Trek Playmates 1701 series, the Hal Jordan they made like 12 of for Justice League Unlimited...)

Make these an up front all-in-subscription for the year. The completists and the wise can get those, get all their figures with no fuss. Everyone else can wait for stupid preorder dates and watch as they sell out in 5 minutes.

Aye, he's been on my want list since the reveal. The Origins Sun-Man being based more on the original is charming but I do prefer this more modern re-design and having big proper wings and such. Looks ace. I'm hoping Sun-Man makes an appearance in the new season coming to help against the Horde invasion and hope he looks like this figure.

The problem with regular retail is they'd be unlikely to make someone like Kol-Darr for that.

And I don't understand why they don't do more online etailer stuff. But those are also an excuse to overcharge...like GAMING GREATS for Star Wars, for something already arguably overpriced for what it is.

I'm thankful there's no PowerCon exclusives this year and hopefully never again.

Well yah it was. Im against exclusives period but motuc you had to drop major bank for their subs and then the handling of said monies was a giant clusterfuck and then people didnt get all their figs at times and it was a huge pain in the ass. Just release figs at regular retail. Its bad enough that stores either dont stock or just dont carry the figs at all. i been to several walmarts that have a few origins figs, masterverse skeligod and battlecat but no other masterverse figs and have not stocked any masterverse figs (or likely never ordered em. Have beard rumors that certain stores dept managers just dont like to stock boys action figure isles ).

This seems likely since where i live walmarts have never stocked any of the titan transformers ( fortmax trypticon, the ark, skorponok ) but yet in a City an hour away targets and walmarts have. My local walmart has only stocked masterverse wave 2 once or twice and never anything since and we’re three waves in and still only battlecat and skeligod.

I may have an idea why they don't do "e-tailer stuff", it boils down to scalpers and bots. Retailers have realized that they'll just steal the products before the collectors could get them.

Honestly, I'm sick of convention and store exclusives. It was cool at first (in the 90s/early 00s), but now, its just a pain to buy these figures, much less finding and hoping stores would even have said figures in stock.
