Toy companies usually don’t. Mattel never said how many castle grayskull’s They needed to sell. They just gave us a thermometer to follow.

But,from those “in the know” I heard 1,000.

Well this is like Haslab and they literally had a counter on their site at all times. It's a much better way to do it so everyone knows

Yeah a counter would have been nice for this so we can track the progress, and it would potentially help motivate more people to jump on board. Alas, it'll just be a guessing game between now and June about whether or not this will actually be made. I wonder how many BBTS ordered to resell.

Yeah if anything it'll help move it along with BBTS selling it. And yeah Haslab was a giant success. It took a long, long time to hit 5,000 sail barges. But once it did it soared to over 8,000 IIRC. Having no idea what's going on is just dumb.

I half wonder if they just don't want to show how many they're producing.

+$150 shipping!

I'd almost be surprised if they get enough orders.

I was really looking forward to this, but I'm not gonna pull the trigger. Bear in mind I bought Grayskull previously as well as supported the Haslab Khetanna.

I have no problem paying $600 upfront, but tying in another $150 for shipping when Hasbro was able to ship a 35lb barge and include that shipping in the overall price is just more than I want to invest. I get it. Super7 is not Hasbro and does not have those resources, but my bigger worries is that how is Super7 going to ensure the QC and protection of said item once it's shipped. Hasbro did an amazing job with the Barge and I can't imagine Super7 double boxing this thing and ensuring it is protected. It invest that much and knowing it may not be shipped or arrive in the condition expected based on their current track record is a deal breaker for me as well.

I really think they should have made it slightly smaller. Time will tell in seeing how well this does.

They actually describe the shipping:
Snake Mountain will come packaged in a deluxe art box (measuring approximately 25″ x 25″ x 28″). For delivery this will be wrapped in protective paper and protected with inner foam corners and shipped in a larger plain (no logos) protective outer shipping box.
It sounds to me like they're doing a good job with it if that's you're concern. But I agree that $150 for shipping is absurd. If it's the same for everyone in the US it should be built in unless it's the same price if you order 2 or something, but that would be nuts.

We are spoiled by amazon. Has anyone gone to the post office or ups and actually shipped something out? A freaking Blu-ray cost me $8 to send. Punch the dimensions of this and weight into the ups calculator or usps. Yeah....you may have other thoughts on that shipping.

blu-rays are covered under media shipping in the USA, which is much cheaper. Unless you just wanted to ship it faster.

No one at the post office said anything like that. I put it in a package and sent it priority. I sold my alien/predator set on eBay maybe 3 years ago. Shipping was $11. That was buffalo to Boston.

Anyway entertainment earth now has this listed for...........$599.......you need to pay shipping on that but some people are saying it maybe cheaper than super7 from China.

If you live in California, you can pickup directly from Entertainment Earth. Bought mine this morning for $660, and they won't charge your card until it's in stock.

Deceptive comparison, and Grayskull folds out, it's more like 26" on each half. I guess new Snake Mountain doesn't fold up.

Not really. Most collectors display the castle fully closed or half open. Snake mountain would be displayed as shown. I think it may close....but don’t quote me.

Awesome news. I used the payment plan for super 7 so it costs me $780. BBTS is $799 with $4 shipping.

I personally did not see much interest in this set from collectors. Wondering how much of this funding was provided by the "major" online toy distributors.
