No one complained about Snake Eyes, as a matter of fact, the opposite. When they "fixed" that in the Snake Eyes movie and made Snake Eyes Asian, everyone complained! Because that was what make Snake Eyes - Snake Eyes: an outsider that's accepted into a ninja clan because he's just THAT good.

No one liked Iron Fist, and that was not because he's white. Not to mention he's not ninja. I don't know what style his martial arts is, but it's more Chinese than Japanese.

A popular Star Wars character used it last week, it has since gained traction around the internet and I agree, I like it too. Apparently its old British slang for "cool"? Although I cannot say if that's true, I never heard it being used that way before, but I think Star Wars used it in the past too.

And yes, King Grayskull definitely looks wizard.

I can't afford to get them all shipped earlier from the US like some UK collectors too.
Yeah, stores around here in Germany don't really stock anything I'm interested in, I have to pre-order online to get the figures I need or import it myself. But I don't buy that much anyways and have good contacts for all the stuff I want.

I can't say I ever remember it being a British thing unless I somehow missed it all my life lol. Could have been said in a different region. The closest thing I can recall from my own childhood was saying things like "that's well wicked!" for example, lol. But aye I looked it up and it was said in the Phantom Menace by the lil spud Anakin. I haven't kept up with Star Wars in a long time so I didn't know it was a thing again in a recent episode of the tv shows.

During the pod race scene in Episode 1 - Anakin's friend said "This is so wizard" when getting ready for the race. When it was said last week, it was right after a scene that threw back to Episode 1. Little wink nod. No idea if it had real world use.

Oh oops I stand corrected in that it was Anakin's mate rather than Anakin himself. Aye, close enough lol. I forgot what this thread was about. Oh aye Sun-Man Origins lol. And there was that Masterverse Revelation King Grayskull mentioned too. Aye, get Sun-Man into that Masterverse too, eh Mattel? I'm sure that would be wizard too lol

I always felt that the Snake Eyes / Storm Shadow story was inspired by the (then fairly recent) Chuck Norris movie 'The Octagon'.

It is.

'Wicked' was a term that came into being (as a common phrase with 'the kids') towards the end of the 80's. Wizard was much, much older - maybe from the 30's-50's. It pops up in Enid Blyton books from time to time.

Gonna try swapping the gear onto "Savage" He-Man for a more 200X look. Anybody want the leftover body parts in advance?

According to Larry Hama, it's apparently a metaphor for his experience of being an ethnically Japanese kid growing up in the United States. If memory serves, he's said that Storm Shadow represents his "Japanese soul" while Snake Eyes is his "American soul."

Moss Man better be flocked or we riot!

I also think this is great news because this means 2-3 more waves of Origins confirmed since they certainly won’t put the remaining 3 in the wave after Sun Man.

Aye maybe but you see the price of flocked Panthor? Total rip off here. 60 quid compared to 45 quid for the much larger Revelation Cat and about 20 for regular Origins Cat.
