As for the neverending wave of repackaged Spidermans, its worth the patience if allows for more obscure characters like Vision and Warpath to make 3 3/4 appearances.
Yes they said they are going to do that with the stands in the last Q&A session.

No, I mean this wave in general. They've been out since mid October (someplaces, early October). It's weird that it would be posted as news now.

I love that Thor and can't wait to get him. I could be wrong but I think that Iron Man might be from the IM2 movie line. I know that he has armor in that movie with the triangle chest piece. Also, the armor on his abs and stomach look exactly like that as well in the movie.

No one had posted any retail sightings, only online ones. That's why. You guys need to speak up when you find stuff!

Ahh. Yes, you are indeed correct. It is amazingly similar to the design of one of the suits of armor appearing in IM2. I have a picture but I cannot post due to ethical reasons. But once the images start coming out you'll see that A LOT of the detailing is very close.

still no retail sightings in detroit, michigan metro area. While they were available online at HTS and at other retailers, I actually haven't seen them in my area, so appreciate the heads up that they may be finally coming (though I got what I wanted from this wave online early). Any news on when wave 2 2010 will be released?

Yeah man, that's definitely the Extremis Armor. Definitely Marvel Universe. Classic Iron Man mold.

Apparently west suburbs aren't on top of things. I'm in South Lyon, and have been checking Novi, South Lyon, Brighton, and Wixom to no avail. I'm not sure why I bother since I picked up the only 2 figures I wanted from this wave from HTS, but I keep checking anyway.

Definitely on point. The picture shown is the Marvel Universe Extremis prototype from SDCC, expected with wave 2 2010. You can see the other prototypes at Action Figure Pics San Diego Comic-Con Hasbro Marvel Pics | ActionFigurePics.com.

Someone may want to fix the Front paged news bit. It lists Warpath (X-Factor) when it should be Warpath (X-Force).

I love these figures, but I wish I could find the X-Men outfit Warpath now. I have the X-Force one.

I also really want that Ironman and Thor. Black Widow with swappable hair is also in that wave, alongside Bucky and Classic Cap.

Both are MU Series 2 wave 2's
The Ironman is both his Civil War and Dark Reign Armor. The armor he used prior to going on the run in his V5 comic from osborn.
It was last seen in Ironman V5 issue 11-14 somewhere.
But I don't remember if he got out of the extremis situation or not, or if that's how he had hooked the database up to be his brain.

*Edit*
It is indeed his Extremis.
It went:
Ironman V4 Extremis Arc
Civil War
Ultron Incident
As he's recovering in the hospital, Secret Invasion is made aware to him.
Dark Reign/V5 comic starts

He hasn't had a chance to fix his predicament of nanites in him that Ultron had shown was one of the stupidest things he's done. That the skrulls helped reiterate with their virus.

The Ironman Marvel Legends Unleashed 360 figure is an armor from 2 hulk issues. It had never appeared in the Ironman Comic itself. Due to this, it may very well be in scale to MU. It was around when he was dabbling with larger than life armors, as seen in New Avengers Transformers (an unnofficial pre-cursor to Transformers Crossovers Marvel). It may also be included as 'Extremis' but I'm unaware of the date of release on those 2 hulk issues. It was before Civil War, and Planet Hulk. Just as Extremis was prior to those events.

The Series 01 Wave 01 armor I'm still not sure as to what its 'official' name is, or where in the comics it's from. So far it's easier to Classify it as Modern Ironman, but it could be just Hasbro's initial interpretation, or the Armor we will be seeing after he gets 'rebooted'.
