How is the Thing in the 3 pack? I don't have any of the previous figs but I've wanted thing and now that I've seen some of your set ups in the appreciation thread with Torch I am going to have to get the Fan 4 so let me know how the Thing compares to others versions in the line

The THING is same across all versions - only difference is the pants/shorts among the versions. I really wish that Hasbro provided a new mold for the THING in the 3pack...they've over used the existing one.

Very limited range of motion in the leg articulation, similar to the first versions of Hulk. Upper body is pretty solid though. I don't mind it *too* much because he's not exactly Van Damme when it comes to kicking.

Stopped by A TRU yesterday.. didnt get anything new.. but did get a horribly painted set of DD,IM and Silver surfer (white with grey shading). the figures are really bad.. but its a set I havent seen.. and it was on clearance for 10 bucks. They must have found it behind some other crap in the warehouse. LOL

Ive passed on that tru set so many times - i could never pull the trigger even for $10 because of the horrible paint app on the figs. The grey.white SS is just horrible. But $10 is a steal for 3 figs nonetheless.

TRU a few months back had the henchmen 3 packs on clearance for 8 each. I picked up the only 2 they had left.
