So I saw the newest wave at Walmart last week. Stumbled upon it actually, because outside of that kick ass Venom with huge scorpion tail(this figure could have had much better articulation though), I haven't had any interest in this line.

The new wave has the following:
  • Lizard(no knee joints EPIC FAIL)
  • Black Spiderman(with armor)
  • Spiderman(with web climbing backpack whatever the fuck that is kind of thing)
  • Spiderman(slightly different paint job but with different robot armor than Black Spiderman)
I think the red and blue Spiderman figures are the same as the glider pack versions from the beginning of the year. Ditto with Armored Black Spiderman.

Yet for some reason, and I think it's due to the paint job and the color of plastic used, the Spiderman figures don't look as cheap in this wave. Have any of you bought them? Admittedly, I think my interest in them was because:
  • A- They're new
  • B- I haven't bought a 6" Spiderman figure since last year I think
  • C- I like robot armor
The only ones that I can see myself getting are 1 of the blue/red Spiderman figures, and Black Spiderman. If any of you have bought these, let me know how they turned out!

Haven't seen any yet, but I will certainly keep an eye out.

I pretty much lost interest in any and all Marvel 6" lines when Legends started to fade away. I'm so much more into the 3.75" scale, and I'm not sure I'll ever collect 6" Marvel figures again. There may be a few exceptions, like favorite characters (Deadpool, War Machine) or ones that could scale well with 3.75" figures (Venom, Rhino, Juggernaut).
