I got the Deathlok head cast from glassman customs. It's a shrunken ML I believe. The upper torso is from a scrap Winter Soldier and the left hand is from a scrap XMO Logan. I'm taking suggestions for the legs and accessories. I want him to be taller than Winter Soldier. I'm probably going to copy the Bowen Deathlok statue but with the left arm exposed instead of the right.
Comments and suggestions are always appreciated!
I also threw in a shot of glassman's Dum Dum and 90's Rogue. I still need a Shield Agent and Kitty Pryde for the bodies.
Can anyone recommend a good set of fine paint brushes?
Enjoy and thanks!!!

Well I still have the huge transparent suit accessory from the Spiderman line Doc Oc figure. I think you could easily chop that up and use it to make your Deathlok look insanely bad ass.

If you want it let me know, as long as you cover the shipping cost you can have it for free, I don't need it.

Ooooo.......oooooo......hang on...a bulb has just come on........howsabout using legs from one of the Crysis2 nano-suits (Alcatraz/Nomad)?? You MIGHT be able to get an arm off one of them too??

@DFD: Oooooooh!!! Definitely hang on to that for me. Once I get all his parts and pieces together I'll hit you up. I'll send you a paypal gift or something for the shipping.
@Proteus: Great ideas bud, I'll have to hunt those down. I think my Target has those figs. BTW, did you see the Sith group photo yet?
@jim: The guy's name is glassman. Google glassman customs and he'll pop up. You can also contact him through ebay, he has the0 custom Deathlok head for sale right now.

I think I've finally found the right buck for him, tall and skinny.
I'm going for Bowen's Deathlok. I think with the right paint apps, this will look pretty good.
Sorry for the washed out pix.
Comments and suggestions are always welcome!

That's gonna be great.
I bought Glassman's Dum Dum head and it's a thing of beauty- definite;y buying all his other stuff!

Your custom is going to be the first or second Deathlok? I think Bowe did both.

@Noodle - Nope, it popped right off. If you're having trouble, hold it under a hair dryer (on low) for a few seconds. The plastic will expand and it'll come right off.
@Jason - Right? I just repainted Dum Dum and used a Sharpie for smaller, more accurate pupils. All his stuff is awesome. I'm trying to follow the Bowen statue Deathlok. It's sleek and just looks awesome IMO

I ordered Dum Dum unpainted and got a painted one...which is just fine since it's painted freaking awesome.

Really gotta get a painted Deathlok and maybe just tweak it some. Tony Stark too.

Here's some updates. The first few (dull) coats are done. The next set of coats will be metallic silver and gold. Sorry for the crappy pix, he looks much better in person.

@USA: *in Peter Griffin voice* "SAWEEEEEET." How did you get his boot covers off and what did you use for his chest tube?

boot covers i just used an exacto knife and slit the back they came right off.

The tube was left over from pyro ML figure. painted and superglued to chest and belt in the back.

Here's the finished product! The matte spray took away some of the shine (which actually looked great on the red and silver) but it helped even everything out. If I only had decals........
