With DC Collectibles coming out with Flash and Arrow figures soon.
I wanted a Superman that would be in scale with those figures. Unfortunately there are not Superman aren't really much options to go with on that scale. There are a lot of comic book ones but would make it look out of place. I wanted a costume that had texture to it. Lucky there was a Superman Returns Ultra line had Superman in that scale. Only problem is that Brandon Routh is The Atom on Arrow and using him as Superman would be an odd thing. So I swapped the head with a Tom Welling/Clark figure from The Smallville line and painted. I'm Pretty satisfied with the results. And for fun I thought I'd take some pictures with The DC Trinity.

Recipe:
Body: Superman Returns Ultra Heat Vision
Head: Smallville series 2 Clark Kent
Cape: Superman Returns Ultra Flight Force

Pretty darn good. I never understood why Welling never got to wear the tights on-screen.

^ He never wore anything because he specifically stated that he would never wear anything close to the suit. Something to do with Reeve's being the only one worthy of the suit or something like that, I don't totally remember. That's why during the series finale his body is completely CG. I love his portrayal of Clark Kent (and Smallville in general), but the guy is a huge douche in real life.
