About 3500-4000 soldiers and french citizens lost their lives that day,if it hadnt been for the french fisherman who pulled old Bill outta the water i wouldnt be here to be a wiseass!!! My grandfather was there too. Made it back on a little fishing boat, that he said he swore was slowly sinking.

It is hard not to get off topic when it is mentioned because I have a lot of respect for my Grandfather and all the allied soldiers in WWII and I just miss him a lot.

Same here mate,it pains me that these veterans are slowly being forgotten. But on a lighter note old Bill spent the rest of the war acting the fool and winding up his C.O's, Classic example,an officer approached him and said "hoi Swannick i need some poles for a tent"(bill was an army carpenter) so he said "well sir if you go out of the camp turn right, drive for a mile and go into the field there, you"ll find as many poles as you need, just help yourself." "Ah right good man Swannick" says the officer and off he goes.........out of the camp turns right, drives for a mile, goes into a field..........to find about 2000 billeted polish soldiers!!!Wahahahahahahahahaha!!

My grandma was one of Jimmy Doolittle's secretaries for a while in the war- she had his flight wings (which I inherited).
My Granddad made her quit because Doolittle kept hitting on her! That giy was like rwice her age!
I guess when a flyboy gives your girl a pair of wings to wear, it's time to break that shit up! LOL!

Yeah, that guy- pretty daring stuff. Everyone though the raid on Japan was a one-way ticket.

I lost my grandma last month and it was a race to get the wings before some...er...relative, lets just say...found them and took them along with whatever was not nailed down from her house.
Only me and my uncle even knew what they were.

I got her photo album too- if you can, get yours and scan all of it in! It's cool to have and you never know all the cool stuff in your family unless you ask...

Er...where does Ben Aflek fall into anything though? Some movie, obviously..

Unless it's political or religous action figures, which would kick ass.
I'd but the hell out of Barack Obama in 3.75- he'd be a great hero or hostage in any diorama!
And who does ot want to make a cyborg Putin? Or Moses for that matter?
Zombie Moses.

democracy vs. facism? Is there any one in the community who would stand up for the Nazis? Or even speak up if someone was bashing the Hitlerites?
And the current drought of new figures goes back to at least november.
If the wm/qs pack was available to ship to major retailers and specialty etailers like bbts at the same time that means we are now 4 or more months out and went through the xmas season either too backed up and unable to restock or unwilling to restock.
I hope Im wrong but I think the wonderman/dd wave and the storm/iron fist wave are write offs. we'll never see them in large quantities
