				 | So here is my second custom. This is the first time I've done a full re-paint and any sculpting work, so I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately my camera work is not so great. Here are a few WIP shots: And some action shots: The recipe I used was: -Body - Avengers 3 pack Thor (big shout out to Jason Abbadon who hooked me up with the extra Thor). I cut down the boot tops and shaved down his enormous neck. -Head - GI Joe ROC Bench Press (added the earing and pony tail) -Jacket - Indiana Jones Mutt Williams -Mace - Modified Avengers 3 pack Thor hammer (thanks again Jason!) Anyway, feedback is always welcome.

Excellent custom and almost spot on, great job! Do you think the weapon might be slightly too small?

If no one had said this was a custom, I'd think we were getting a peek at a figure from one of the new waves. Truly amazing work on the paint job man, its absolutely flawless!

The weapon is definitely too small. It's the one part of the figure I wasn't totally happy with. I hope to re-do it at some point after I get a little more practice with sculpting.

That's a great Thunderstrike custom! He was always a favorite of mine, so much so I bought that lame ass Thunderstrike mini that came out a few months back.

Scary how easy it would be for Hasbro to do this with the addition of a new head and a jacket. Great custom BTW, looks awesome.

I'm not familiar with this character, but your work looks just like a figure I'd buy in Target, so.. very nice!

That looks fantastic! I bought mine from Hunter Artworks Customs, it's about the same size as the MU Mjolnir. But that may be too small as well, depending on what you're going for.

				 | Quote: (insert dick joke here) Turned out really really amazing! Cast that head for the rest of us! Also- Dullcoat. He's a mite shiney. I find that Testors' Dullcoat really makes a custom look better than a mass produced fig- and makes uniformed goons like the Cap Line Hydra soldiers look 100% better. Got any other customs in the works? |

This is very inspirational. I have a old Thor body with that exact jacket on just sitting there, waiting for a head. Maybe I will attempt a different custom when Thunderstrike took over for Thor in...the 80's was it?
