I wanted to know, Which toys aere rare in the Marvel Universe line. The problem I have is that most figures considered rare in other countries, come in millions to mine. I hope you guys can help me with my doubt.

Jean Grey, Bullseye, Daredevil, Nick fury, X force Archangel, Vision, Warpath and Thanos i'd say would be the rarest

Bullseye, silver surfer for me.. neways.. jean grey, warpath, variants can be tricky for most ie fantastic 4, spider man, submariner variant, the box sets of 3packs and the 70th anniversary set is pretty rare.. the mailout nick fury and archangel are the rarest I would say.. after that it's just variants or the odd figure per line... there's usually 1-2 that are more rare and cost more then the rest

If I were going to judge by Amazon.com prices, I would say (regular single packs only):
1) Vision 2) Warpath 3) Flaming Human Torch 4) Jean Grey 5) Bullseye 6) Moon Knight 7) Classic Ms. Marvel 8) Thing 9) Black Panther 10) Archangel variant Those don't completely square with other sources, but it's something to think about, especially since Thanos sells for about $15 less than Warpath on there. |

bingo i would definately go with this. you would have to add daredevil though and the punisher with the white gloves. sunfire as well.

Its gratifying to see that "first adopters" of this line are reaping the reward of buying those early figures as they seem to be the rarest. The white glove punisher is a pretty horrible sculpt but it's nice to know he has some value!

The Blue/Yellow Goliath is hard to find...and many think its the variant...but its the original. And I don't want to repeat but pretty much all the other posts are true as well.

basically the absolute toughest to find/most valuable are the digital comic mail in figures.. as they were limited run, then the collectors edition box set which had red skull! nearly impossible to find without buying the box set even on ebay. the larger figures skrull solider and goliath are hard to find/more expensive.. then it's just based off the line and area.. the real key is it rare to you.. some people have peg warms of wave I've never even seen and vise versa.. some figures are 1-2/case where others are 5-10/case.. so its up to you.. over time anything moc has the potential to be rare.

well she kinda is... depending on which site u go on .. some charge more for certain figures due to the odds of finding them per case.. I found her.. but she was the last 1 when I got there. Distrubution and location are key factors in being rare.. if you live in a small area with 1-2 major retailers.. u get what you get without resorting to shopping online or getting independant retailer

This one Target in town has a wall of Winter Soldiers. They have Winter Soldiers the way everyone else has Iron Man. If I knew why, I think I would be one step closer to mathematically unlocking the universe.

I've also seen an Archangel local, but I'd say he's solid trade fodder. As for that Warpath I found the variant local as well. I paid eight bucks for him but I know some paid a lot more. Now it seems like it's the original that's rare, but I think that'll change with the revision cases. I try to be pretty patient, though as I don't want to feel burned wallet-wise.

If anyone is looking, I have a loose Thanos available and a MOC Warpath variant available.
Now that revision cases are hitting, I'm seeing a lot of figs that I didn't when they first hit.
