Ok so in the last 2 months we've all discussed at great lengths: MU Wave 13, Giant Sized X-Men, Thor, Gigantic Battles, Catina guy and Destro lol, the comic 2-packs and Cap.

Not even a peep about Wave 14. Now I had seem some sources that had May '11 or Spring '11 as release dates. But clearly none of these have been seen anywhere. No Hong Kong scalpers, no releases from BBTS...any word on these? Are we looking at July as solid?

I've seen June/July for them. Wave 14 and as well as 15 are really looking to be great waves. Can't believe that we are getting a Darkhawk and a variant.

This seems to be the formula for a typical series for MU

1st wave gets released early for us. Nov-Dec ish

2nd Wave comes between Feb-Apr

3rd Wave comes right around SDCC

4th Wave is always the lost wave (Thanos, Warpath etc). Released but usually is lost when retailers are catching up to the past releases and the upcoming next series release.

Thoughts on this formula?

Sounds pretty accurate. Mixed in with Team packs, CC exclusives, movie lines, etc.

Falcon would be great to add to my soon to be Civil War display =3. Anyone know if the Darkhawk variant is Talon?

Is Cable getting repacked for Wave 14? If so, I'm ready for it. I still need him, and I really want that Scarlett Spider.

Damn it, don't remind me about more waves. My wallet was making me forget about these after wave 13 and the captain America line.
I'm aware of Dr strange, scarlett spider, darkhawk, skaar, are there any other new figures I am missing?

First Appearance, baby! WOOT! Gimmie that sweet 90's look for my variant!
It's become a MU tradition to make both modern and first appearance versions of characters:
Captain America
Iron Man (IM2 Comic Series)
Thor
Daredevil
Darkhawk
Wolverine
Hulk (Avengers set)
Wasp (Avengers set)
Ant Man (Avengers set)
Cyclops/Jean (X-Men First Class two-pack)
Black Panther (His modern look is in the BP/IM two-pack)
Havok

Am I missing anyone?
Truly, we art blessed!

After the nightmare that was last year's Thanos wave, I've decided to preorder my desires via BBTS- I ordered a short case of wave 14- one of each fig with I think an extra Scarlett Spider (surely this wave's peg warmer).

Huh. It dawns on me that MU may have the best racial diversity of any toy line (except possibly GI Joe, but they have real stereotype issues).
With Falcon there are six black characters (with nine figures!), two asian and two native Americans.
As to nationality, we have characters from the US, Canada, Japan, China, Germany, Russia, Great Britan, Africa...and of course, outer space.
Not to shabby, MU.

From what I remember, he's not. Only Apocalypse and Gladiator are going to be repacked for that wave. So if you're prioritizing the figs from wave 13, make sure to go for Cable and Cyclops first since there's no announcement when they are going to be repacked as of now.

I'm thinking this wave will hit around the time of SDCC this year, July 21-24. I'll be ready for that.

Yeah, I was totally bummed when I noticed today that my pre-order on BBTS for wave 14 jumped from May to August. Lame.

Goldbug needs to share!
And by share, I of course mean "send me that Docctor Strange!"

Y'know, looking at those Red Skull pics, I'd kill for them to release the much nicer SDCC Red Skull on a single card!

Hmm...I bet someone has a resin cast of the SDCC version for sale.
Gotta search the dark and shady underworld of 3.75" collecting- make a contact or two in a dark alley and get the merchandise....without letting the Man in on the action, of course.
