You'd be better off making a skateboard and adding SW/Joe weapons to it.

What are you talking about? The Joe Aircraft Carrier is 6' 1/2 ft long.
Releasing something like this for MU is unnecessary, this kind of stuff is more appropriate for the GI Joe line.

It's not a good vehicle or a good playset, they should have just made the Avengers mansion and called it a day.

As I said on another board....

As kids you had imaginations....as adults youve lost them.

It looks cool (Not buying)!!!

Just pretend your Team is inside...

The Days of a Giant FLAGG (Which wasnt in scale either) are over...

I had hot wheels that I pretended that they transformed into Transformers just by standing up on bumpers...

Cats Lair and The thunder Tank were not in Scale
GreySkull was not in Scale

The plastic Voltron Lions that had Figures were not in Scale

I want this but I know for a fact it will go on sale at some point, even clearance. I refuse to pay sticker price for it!

All vehicles meet the same fate eventually...

I'm getting it for my 1/144 Macross valkyrie collection. A bit of repainting & a lil kitbashing then hang it from the ceiling.

Most of the lines u quoted are from the 80's or later, toys have come a long way in 30 years and the efforts in change/progression should be shown to the consumer market, collector market and it looks good on the company. I mean the cc figures on giant card backings is touches we want to see, giant playsets that still aren't giant enough interests me as much as Iron man on a 4-wheeler. There's certain toys I boycott or say yah not for me, this would be 1 of them. Even if it wasn't $150 I got no room for large vehicles, let alone small ones.

I might consider getting this. Especially if they make more normal sized figures of pym particles characters. By comparison characters that can size shift look epic on things like this.

But I'll definitely wait until a sale or clearance.

This is true, BUT my point isnt where toys have gotten better.

My point is a Kid has an imagination and is not going to give a flippty floo that this isnt in scale!!!

And Im pretty sure you are NOT the target buyer on that ironman on his a 4-wheeler.

Have you forgotton that these are not geared for adults. Yes we buy this stuff, but hasbro has said on many times that we are a small percentage of the ones buying these toys.

These are for kids and kids will love this and their favorite hero on a 4 Wheeler.

When I was a kid I could cut a door and some windows in a cardboard box and it was this really cool castle.

As a kid I would just pretend my toys were in there....Imagination and less complaining....

Has anyone seen a release date on these yet? I am surprised they haven't shown up at retail. Heck, I saw a Quinjet for clearance already at Walmart!

Good question. I wouldn't be surprised if it got cancelled. The Avengers section barely seems to be moving now, lots of shelf & peg warming; and even more clearance sales. Add in the total lack of movie accuracy, i'll be happily surprised if it shows up.

They've moved a ton of figures here since the movie hit theaters. Then again, TRU has had two pretty good sales on Avengers figures since the movie came out.

Locally the aisles were hit quite well after opening week. Since then i have seen no sign of restock or movement. Mostly clearance sales... looks like the collectors already got what they wanted, and the kids have went back to their beyblades.
The only new item i saw was that electronic, more accurate, smaller scale Quinjet at TRU. One of my local Targets even started putting out that Captain America vehicle that was released long ago to fill in the gaps.
The only thing that seems to be restocking is Marvel universe 3.75" surprisingly.

Well, we just got a restock of Avengers figures but sadly wasn't wave 3. Hulk and Loki have shown up for the first time and for $5 I figured why not.

Yeah I thought we'd have a release date by now at least. I'm waiting for this and the larger Thor hammer with the NERF head. Then again almost every store in my area is still sitting on a heap of the electronic ones from the Thor movie. heh

Well May 28th, Memorial Day was supposed to be the release of the new GI Joe figures for retail. So maybe we will see some kind of action figure aisle reformat/restock. Whether the Joe toys get put on the pegs or not, i predict that the Avengers toys get squeezed/shrank for the reset.
The GI Joe skystrikers are on clearance at Target too.
.... it could be an interesting weekend for toy hunting.

I just want a helicarrier so i can kitbash it for my 1/144 Macross collection.

Now that seems a little ridiculous. Does it break open to reveal a massive SHIELD playset? It would be better...

easy pass for me, i want my helicarrier to be MASSIVE....best way to do that is to make your own, unfortunately i do not have the time or space to make one and i wouldn't settle for less. i don't think this works as a good representation of the helicarrier, maybe as a sail barge for my star wars figures LOL.
