Hi All,
New member as of yesterday. I'm in a few dozen FB groups, and thought why not join an online forum since I'm in quite a few for another hobby.

I collect mainly NECA, Star Wars (Vintage, TVC and BS), and once in a while, I'll pick up a few Macfarlane (DC, Fortnite) or Hasbro Marvel pieces.

I mostly pre-order, but do enjoy the hunt once in a while, although it's not as fun anymore with the supply chain issues. Better off just waiting for the pre-order to arrive, rather than seeing the same peg warmers.

For the older stuff, I like hitting up antique/vintage shops and FB Marketplace.

Thanks for having me!

Hello. Welcome to the forum. It's been a really good start. Your room looks great. It is very fun and exciting to see many of my favorite toys there. I have been collecting toys for over 20 years. I also love to combine old and new toys. If you want to see my collection, you can visit My Mixed Collection. Congratulations.

Welcome. Nice use of guitar stands! Very diverse collection of toys, you got Jabba's Sail Barge! The jewel in any collections. Very nice collection of military memorabilia as well.

Thanks! I'm still a bit of a newbie with only 4 or 5 years, but it's nice having adult money!

Just looked through your collection. Very nice!

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words. The Barge is such an awesome vehicle. Wish I had something like this as a kid! I'm anxiously awaiting the Razor Crest, then I think that's it for a while for big vehicles. I'm starting to run out of space.

I stole the guitar stand idea from another collector. They work great, and are nice space savers.

And thanks; militaria/military history is my main hobby. Been collecting for almost 15 years.

If you've only been collecting for 4-5 years, then some of those vintage Star Wars figures must have cost some pretty pennies. You also have some pretty hard to find pieces in your collection: Antoc Merrick's X-wing and Gamestop Exclusive Purge Trooper are the 2 that I was never able to find.

Thanks! I lucked out with the Vintage figures. It's a combined 2 collections from original owners, with a few other figures added here and there.

I travel around locally for work, so am always hitting up Target, Walmart or Gamestop if one is near by. Has helped me pick-up quite a few figures I never thought I'd find out in the wild.

Merrick's X-wing was sheer luck. Wandered into my local Target, and there were 5 on the shelf. Had a 25% of toy coupon as well, so a win-win!

Thought I'd add some updates. Recently added additional lights and figures to the barge.

Added a few figures over the past few months. Mostly NECA, with some SWs and McFarlane mixed in.

Been waiting a long time for the 7" scale Loomis; not disappointed. The AWIL figures are my favorites by far. Need to pick up two more of the "nightmare demons" to complete the set.

Demona is the next big standout for me, with Griff right behind her. The rest are awesome in their own respect.

On the vintage side, I recently rediscovered Battle Beasts. Man, these were my go to as a kid. All of mine were trashed in the great "mom" purge most of us went through. Hoping to complete the whole set in a year. So far 14 down (have 2 on their way in the mail), 62 to go!

And last but not least, I received my Razor Crest. Just all around awesomeness. Banana for scale.

Couple of classic McFarlane Movie Maniacs thrown in there. That was always McFarlane's specialty: movie monsters.

BATTLE BEAST! Looking forward to the completion of that collection!

I don't have a Razor Crest, but I've seen one in real life from a good friend. That this IS a beauty!

Yep! Have only a couple of the Movie Maniacs I wanted to pickup since they'll likely never be released by NECA. These two were surprisingly the main ones I was hoping to snag. Thought it was pretty cool they were both there.

The Battle Beasts will be a fun line to collect. I've already added 3 more since my original post!

I backed it on the last day. Was on the fence. Glad I did. Way better than I had anticipated!
