Thank you very much.

This cleaning was very tiring for me. But if I'm collecting toys and putting together so many objects, they have to be clean. Zombie figure Babysitter figure from Sideshow's The Dead series. Especially when I examined his face by holding a flashlight, there are really incredible details. Hitman has a very special place for me. I especially like the photos of this series more than the game. I actually bought Actionman figures when they first came out. I always had it in my collection. But you are right, I can say that the shelf that I can arrange their shelf arrangement this time is new. ![]() Thank you very much again. Quote:
It was a very tired cleaning but they look really nice. I actually bought the Sheva figure a long time ago. I think it's been over 10 years. It belongs to a different brand. You must have heard of Crazy Toys brand. I know that this model is not currently for sale. Especially the Crazy Toys' Albert Wesker figure is amazing, but I've never been able to find it. It was very expensive when I saw it a few times. Yes, the Tomb Raider series will now be displayed in a glass display case. You're right, too much variety. Sometimes I wonder how so many things can fit in the room. But to tell the truth, I think I decorated it well. ![]() Thank you very much again.

A few more pieces were added to the collection this week. To talk a little about the collection:
My father made a nice surprise and bought a Goofy statue for my collection. I also use the real wooden chair that I bought from my grandmother's house years ago because it suits the atmosphere of my room. We had changed the fabric a long time ago, but a few weeks ago my mother and father bought a Mario patterned fabric and my father changed the fabric of the chair. I now have a new designed chair. ![]() A Harry Potter figure, produced in 2002 and attracting my attention with its different design, was added to the collection. I remember this series was very expensive in 2002. Finally, the Wonka notebook and a few vinyl records were added to the collection. Especially the Max and Moritz record was important to me.

I have many figures in front of me that need to be repaired and accessorized. However, I have no place to display these figures. I think I'll fix the Tony figure from the NFL series first. Then I will move on to the Nascar series.

The 2008 McFarlane Toys Tony Romo figure was missing its base, ball and helmet front irons. I made a new worn out base and made a ball reminiscent of the old times using polymer clay. Almost done. I'm thinking of an idea for helmet bars.

The Ghostbusters quartet is complete. The team is ready.
![]() I started collecting the WB100 special series and bought the Coyote figure first. 20,000 of each WB character have been produced. I bought 2 toys that again brought me back to the 90's. One is a telephone and the other is a large plane. I had purchased a different version before. This one is much different and has another small plane on it. ![]() I had 7 inch Zorro figures in my collection, but I was looking for the 1/6 version for a long time and it was finally added to the collection. Generally, the ones added to the collection are the ones seen in the photos. I also bought a hanger for some of my favorite collectible mugs, and now I can display them, too.

I have recently added a few wind-up and mechanical toys from the 90s and earlier to my collection. I will add photos of a few existing toys and newly added toys soon.
I will share information and details about the toys. Maybe if there are collectors here who love this type of toys, it will be a nice nostalgic journey for them. ![]()

Hello again everyone.
This week, I would like to provide you with information about the interesting and fun old toys that were recently added to my collection and those that were added to my collection in previous years. I have specifically chosen 10 toys that have wind-up mechanisms and interesting operating systems, and I would like to provide you with information about these toys. If you like this article, I can prepare similar short articles about various toys. Then Let the ''Nostalgic Journey'' Begin! ![]() (You can see the photos below.) 1- The music box named "Teaching Clock" was created in 1962 by Fisher Price, which was founded during the Great Depression. We see that a large amount of wood was used in the production of this music box. Nails were used to fix both wood and plastic. The round section containing images such as the sun and clouds is made of sheet metal. While plastic is used for the handle, its coating is made of paper. There is a winding mechanism on the back of the watch. When you turn it, it plays a beautiful melody that will help children fall asleep. The hour and minute hands on it are movable and there are various educational visuals on the right and left of the music box. 2- The teddy bear that listens to music you see is a very fun toy. As a result of my research, I think it was produced in the late 80s or early 90s. This cute bear, powered by 2 batteries, walks and listens to music thanks to the interesting movement mechanism on its feet. The red LED on the front is on steadily. You can move its arms however you want. Since the mechanism of such toys is very sensitive, they need to be operated and maintained from time to time. However, unfortunately, it is difficult to say that the condition of this toy in my collection is very high until today. A little restoration work was done by my brother. 3- Police Motorcycle I can say that it is one of my favorite toys newly added to the collection. It's a wind-up toy that I think was produced in the 90s. Apart from being a fun toy, its mechanism is also very eye-catching. Every time you turn the winding mechanism of the toy, the plastic designed as a light on the back turns. While you place it on the ground and watch it move, the plastic part designed as a light moves, and the engine can go back and continue its journey with the mechanism underneath after going forward for a certain period of time. It is one of those rare toys that looks simple but has more than one part moving. ![]() 4- Monkey toy from The Not So Grand Band series, which is also one of my favorite toys. This toy, produced by Tomy in 1980, has a winding mechanism. Plastic was generally used in the production of the product. When you set up the toy and start watching, you can hear the bells hitting each other very quickly and making a sound. Additionally, the monkey can continue walking during this time. Yes, this is a very small toy but the fun it offers is huge. ![]() 5- This monkey can do somersaults. Yes, this toy with an interesting mechanism, produced by Super Toys in 1983, is perhaps one of the most striking among wind-up toys. Instead of the standard white winding button, a winding button that matches the color of the toy is used. The plastic quality of the product is really great for its time. After setting up the toy and placing it on the ground, the mechanism works quickly, allowing the monkey to roll over continuously. I think the lucky children who were able to play with such fun toys in the 80s were never bored. ![]() 6 and 7 - Rope Skipping Bear and Rope Skipping Tiger, produced by the Japanese toy manufacturer Masudaya Toys and very popular in the 80s and 90s. These toys, powered by 2 batteries, constantly jump rope thanks to the movable arm mechanism. I had the blue bear version in the 90's. I even remember that when I put the batteries in upside down, it flipped over to the wrong side. There are currently 2 versions of this toy, which has many different varieties, in my collection. Iron is usually used in the string part, but plastic is used in the Tiger toy in my collection, so I can say that it is a rarer variant. To give a little more information about the manufacturer Masudaya Toys. It is also the manufacturer of the legendary Neptune Tin Ship toy. 8- This cute doll, produced by New Ray, has a winding mechanism. It is generally made of hard plastic, but a soft rubber material is used in the head part. After turning the winding mechanism, only the legs of the toy move. However, since the movement mechanism is very well adjusted, we can see movements close to a real baby walk. 9- Swimming child. It is another wind-up toy that was very popular in the 90s. After setting up the mechanism, it was very enjoyable to put it in a bowl full of water and watch it swimming. Many children were playing with this toy especially on the beaches during the summer months. Smaller and shorter versions are popular. The version in my collection is the larger version. It has equipment such as pallets and tubes. 10- Snow White and the seven dwarfs, the story we all know. Here you see one of the dwarfs. My research on this toy continues. However, I think it may have been produced in the late 80s and early 90s. This toy, made in China, has a rope on the back. When you pull this string, the toy vibrates and moves. This rope movement system is used in different ways in many old toys. In the new era, we can remember the Woody toy from Toy Story. In general, I tried to provide you with small information. I enjoyed writing it, I hope you enjoyed reading it too. The last information I want to add is; It is known that the first modern wind-up toys appeared in the 15th century. Thank you for reading. ![]()

Yes, it is a really fun toy. It is one of the toys that remained on the market for a very long time, from the 80s to the end of the 90s.

I bought these figure pieces from a vendor's stall at a flea market about 10 years ago. They were all scattered around and these were the pieces I could collect. Maybe I didn't see a few parts.
Thanks to my research and those who helped me, I learned that this figure is Tommy Gunn, produced by Zodiac Toys in Hong Kong in 1960. As you can see, some accessories are missing. In fact, the upper part of his body, which is more important than the accessory, is also missing. As of yesterday, I felt it was time to put the figure on its feet. The part that I had the most difficulty with while doing the project was the rubber band system. To briefly talk about the rubber band system, rubber band were actually used to move the joints in many toys from 1930 to the 1980s. These rubber bands can rot or break over time. Since this figure doesn't have any rubber band, I need to reattach the rubber band. For the upper body part, I removed a piece from another toy and cut off the lower part almost completely, as you can see in the photo. I will be happy to complete the project in a short time and see this important toy standing. ![]()

Thank you very much for your comment. You are right.
![]() For now the project is going well. I washed and cleaned the entire figure. Then, I assembled the upper body appropriately and attached the rubber bands. Finally the figure stands up and can stand. His joints can move. Now I moved on to the clothing and accessories section.

I am slowly approaching the end of the project.
I cleaned his army boots and put on new laces with a thin needle. In the original model, the head entered the body. For this reason, I fixed the head inwards. I clothes him in his original clothes. For the missing clothes, I dressed him in the appropriate clothes I had. I'm currently working on the neck tag and helmet. Also, he uses Sterling SMG as a rifle, I think it will be a little difficult to find and the prices are expensive. But I will definitely find a rifle.
