Right? Of course there are still some but the list is getting smaller everyday. Which is a great thing. Can anyone name a top five of characters that haven’t had at least one modern high quality representation in figure form? I’ll go first:

1 Raditz (SH Figuarts)
2 Rhinox (Takara Masterpiece)
3 Rattrap (Takara Masterpiece)
4 Goliath (? From Disney’s Gargoyles)
5 Captain Planet (I’m reaching here)

Only thing I want brought back from extinction would be the Dinosaucers in super articulated 8" figures to scale with 6". Honestly, I'm shocked that Super7 or Funko haven't jumped on it, considering how insanely 80's retro they've been pushing lately.

1: Streets of Rage cast
2: The Eternal Champion (Elric, Corum, Hawkmoon)
3: An actual figure of Geralt (The Witcher), preferably Mezco or Mafex
4: Drakengard figures, namely Caim.
5: Vampire Hunter D, there might be a 1/6 figure, I'm not sure, but something in 1/12 would be awesome.

Good thing is... there's lots of figures that don’t exist of which I don’t even know that I want them yet

Collecting introduces me to so many new things.

Not something I want personally but I was just thinking, with the popularity of It, why hasn't someone jumped on Killer Clowns from Outer Space?

There was something about 10 years or so ago. Don't remember who made them, but they were fugly and sold at Suncoast.

Yes! This is blank spot in the collection for sure. It’s one of the few that doesn’t even have a bad figure, (like many VG characters) just no figure at all.

Dude I don’t even remember these. Which is weird cos I would have been the target age demo. I would’ve loved them! Humanoid dinosaurs! All I had back then was the live action sitcom Dinosaurs, Land Before Time, Dink and Denver the Last Dinosaur.

Dinosaucers was a one season wonder. It was all the talk of the town when I was a kid, but seems it didn’t do well, as it only lasted 65 episodes. I think some of the toys appeared in South America, but most were only shown as prototypes. I wanted toys of this series sooooooo badly as a kid.

Only two things I want....

1) A NECA scale RJ Macready from The Thing

And 2) A full line of figures from Jingle all the Way! Turboman, Booster, Dementor and one of each color of the Demon Team! There's already people making these with 3D scans of the original props from the movie, but I want cheaper options that I can buy multiples of haha

Premium 1/6 scale sized Small Soldiers. Something that looks identical to the movie. Just a fun little movie I like to watch back-to-back with Toy Story. LOL

Wow. Looks cool! Would definitely get Archer and Chip if they looked like the film box, etc.

Even though the movie was silly, it and Toy Story struck a cord with me because as a kid I used to have dreams about my toys coming to life, with the Decepticons, Cobra, and Foot Clan joining forces to conquer the city, and the GI Joes, Autobots, and TMNT group and I (as a 8 to 10 year old kid) had to stop them. To see that concept executed to some level on the big screen was fantastic.

Yes, I'm a geek.

Everything Gargoyles.

Well, there's also Dino Riders, Dino Saucers, Rock Lords, Gobots, Inhumanoids, Visionairies, Captain Power, Silverhawks, Bravestarr, Conan The Adventurer, Centurians, and Johnny Quest, but Gargoyles is the only thing I would definitely buy.

Great list, deecee4! I would buy all of those, especially Silverhawks and Dungeons & Dragons (based on the cartoon). I'd love Inhumanoids, but I really only cared about the 3 giant villain figures. Never cared for the humans.

Figures I'd like to see:
1. GI Joe
2. Jack Torrance (The Shining)
3. Big Trouble in Little China
4. Snake Plissken
5. T&C Surf Designs

Dude! Redlen, the tree creature!!! He was one of my favorites as a kid. D'Compose was ok, but mine's ribcage was broken a day after getting it.

Also, Dr. Kain, Gobots are currently getting Masterpiece-like figures in Japan. Check your favorite importer for availability.

Funny how a flop back then got 65 episodes and is largely forgotten, whereas now a hit show gets a 6 episode season 1 and takes 5 years to hit 65 eps

God, dude. Literally ALL of this. With major emphasis on Crystar and Silverhawks.

It was Backyard Heroes that attempted to relaunch Crystar. They totally flaked on it though. Drug out forever and then just nothing. I got my money back but never heard what really happened.

I know this may not be entirely what you're talking about, but where else can I say this? The problem with companies having such direct communication with fans on what they want, plus having basically perfected the art of figure production, is that it means that you have to pick and choose less unless you do a REALLY deep cut on a character. Back when I started, there was always a "perfect" version of a figure we waited for, and when they DID happen, it was an EVENT. Nowadays, though? They just kinda happen. Yeah, perfect version, okay, next!

I feel sorry for the people just starting out, since they won't know the wonder of waiting for the perfect version of a character they've known and loved for a while. They can just get the good one and move on. I know this is a REALLY weird complaint to have, but it's been weighing on me recently.
