Cool throne shots. Also saw some of the other new stuff you posted in the other thread...I'm the same way, comics, video games, CD, movies, all part of the experience. Love the PS2 games in particular

Yeap. They gotta be right. Especially if you collect action figures and Lego sets you got to have the material the figures and sets are based on in order to know the characters and stories the merchandise is based around. I'm a PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360 gamer. I room with my brother and he's been showing me some Nintendo Switch games he has, which are fine games. Man Nintendo's control scheme is very different from Sony and Microsoft's so it does take some getting used to.

This is an interesting item I have. I found this while clearing some items in my garage that I took when I moved into my own place. It's a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em set of Superman and Metallo made back in 2006. I played the heck out of it when my siblings and parents and even myself, and I used Superman and Metallo as action figures until I got some DCSH & DCUC Superman figures. So the wear and tear do show on this item, but it's still a cool thing to have. I'll have a new purpose as a centerpiece on a Superman-themed, DC-themed, or just any display I decide to do in the future that I could use it in.
Two perspectives.

The functionality. Standard Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em push the two buttons to control the fist and take out the opponent.
Superman has a presure plate beneath his logo that causes his head to tilt back when it's struck by Metallo.

Metallo's pressure plate is just a button on his chest. I would've prefered it if it was his Kryptonite Heart instead of just a bland presure plate on his chest. I do like that Metallo's head does pop up like a Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em robot's head, making it clear he's a machine.

Part of the wear and tear on this set is now only the right hands work on this set, the left ones don't. Metallo's left hand doesn't punch at all and Superman's cause him to pop out of position. That's why I'm holding his foot down in the photo. Yes, I'm a white guy.

Here are closer looks at the characters. Metallo looks cool for the most part. Still disappointed that he doesn't have his signature Kryptonite heart. Also, his eyes are red instead of green. So he basically looks like a Terminator or a BAT without the COBRA attire on. Superman looks like Superman, nothing much to say about his look other than it's good. The characters seem to be in the 6" to 7" scale range here's the Superman with the DCUC Superman, they're about the same height. The RESE Superman may be taller than the DCUC by an inch or two.

For fun I had the DCUC Superman fight both combatants.

Now for some fun, I decided to use the set to create a boxing-style match where Heroes and Villains bet on who will win. In Superman's corner, we have Batman, Duke, and Spider-Man. In Metallo's corner, we have Joker, Cobra Commander, and Hammerhead.

Superman wins the villains are mad that they lost while the heroes celebrate their victory.

Thanks. Yeah. It's a bit fitting. He also sits better in that position than in the way Darkseid sits. Then again they have different thrones so different positions are suitable for the respective thrones.

I got the DC Multiverse Grifter figure and I must say it's a cool one. Since Grifter is a Wildstorm character that means he was an Image character until DC acquired Wildstorm in 1998. So this first round of pictures is Grifter bridging the DC and Image universes.

Now here's the Grifter with just DC Heroes since he became full-on DC Hero now, and was brought into the main DC Universe after Flashpoint.

I see truly magnificent figures. It's a pleasure to watch them all. It's great to see so many batman figures together. Batgirl and Joker figures are very striking. The Joker Mortal Kombat figure is one I've been wanting to buy for a long time. If I have a chance, I'll take it. Great collection. Congrats.

Thank You. Yeah. Batman is my favorite IP, I love Batman, and can't get enough of it. I found Joker from MK11 at Fye. It's funny that so far my MK figures are of guest characters. If I find a good Scorpion, Sub-Zero, or Kitana I'll take 'em.

Here are some up-to-date images of my GI Joe and COBRA rosters.

This Joe roster includes the Alpha Commando Snake Eyes as opposed to the Ninja figure as before.

As for COBRA I recently acquired a Cobra Island Cobra Trooper from a local collectibles store and so he is added to the COBRA Army. Still, no luck finding the Retro Carded Destro and Baroness those two characters are must-haves. Damn you Hasbro and your exclusives.

Thank you. I had to make sure all characters fit this month's theme in some capacity. That's even the Demogoblin is on display.

Now that I recently obtained McFarlane Hush and Deathstroke I can add them to Batman's rogue's gallery.

Also recently I obtained the DC Universe Classics Wonder Woman figure and now my DC Heroes lineup on the 6" scale is starting to look as rich as the 7" scale.

Here are 6" DC Villains for reference

Now finally after finding the Retro carded Baroness at Walmart I can add her to my Cobra Roster.

All the figures look great especially deathstroke, I usually stick to female characters but he’s a tempting one!

I love him. Found him at Best Buy when I got a new phone charger. Didn't know they sold action figures at Best Buy, but now I do. I like that he has a place to put his sword & knife when they're not in use.

I have a number of those comic book collections myself, so I love seeing them "come alive" with your figures. Very nice!
