After getting caught up on so many pages of our awesome Appreciation thread, I realized so many people ask for stuff that people post from their store pictures or comments of their pegs containing x and y. Some say "that's rare!" while others say "that's a peg warmer." for the same figure. So when I seen peteparker's comment on having a thread like this, I checked to see if it'd been made, and decided we needed it. I guess this could be moved to bst.. but really it's not a bst thread because it's simply everyone posting pictures of their local stores stock as we already do in many other threads. And if someone wants something from another arker's store, they can simply pm them instead of discussing it in the thread. I think this could be very beneficial, so post away with snapshots of your pegs and hopefully we all win in the end!

Here's my target. Not too much. But here it is nonetheless!

i had an idea like this where we had a toyark smartphone app, where someone can give updates on finds in the wild, WHILE SHOPPING. For instance someone posts a want for X, and whoevers at the store can pick it up. Its better than going through all the wants threads, or going out not knowing what people need but finding it at the store. Its probably a dumb idea, but it gets our little community more connected and integrated.

but yeah, lets post some toy isle pics too....

Yea, i'd rather have a thead like this then have the MU appreciation thread full of my store has this. Either way itll be ignored and the same $hit will happen.

It's nice in all but we have sightings threads by state. I don't take pics but I try to describe what's outhere. If people take pics before they but all the good stuff there is no point. lol I do like seeing other stores selection but I thought the whole point of the MU appreciation thread was so we could view everything related to MU in one place. I'm just as happy to see these photos there. Just my 2 cents.

That's what the sightings thread is for isn't it?

Yes but me and you are a couple of the many few who even post on there or pay any attention to those threads.

I believe the Apple App store has a set of requirements (many of which involve paying). Also, they aren't cross compatible with RIM (Java) or Android (Mostly Java). iPhone apps are mostly Objective C. Also, we would need to rig up a webserver to host the database that'll house all our wishlists so that we have something remote to save to and access for wants. Since not all of us have an iPhone (I use an Android phone myself), we'd really need at least 3 versions of this app. Alternatively, we could create a web page where we can put our wishlists and view those of others but then, that wouldn't be very much different than posting on this thread except that it would be exclusively for posting wishlists. I can't see enough people using such a site that would make it worthwhile for someone to put that together, unfortunately. Not a dumb idea by any means, but can see it being highly under-utilized.

I added the pictures from today at the top obviously. I think an app would be amazing, I also think it'd be underused though for what would be put into it.. I think this thread is nice at doing exactly this, as long as we simply post store pictures and keep it mostly clean otherwise so people can filter through it easily! Which I'm semi-ruining by posting right now I know, but I'm also "bumping" because I put the pictures in my original post I guess.

They had a few of each of the newest wave except Iceman, but no metal Absorbing Men or the Tony Stark stand version of the new Ironman.

I think this thread is cool because you can see other stores nationwide and see that its not just your area that blows.

So are we deeming "Tony Stark" the variant now? I made a thread about it a while back, but no one really got anywhere with it.. and I still have one of each in package and I want to open one! But it can't be the variant.

And I agree Doomtron. It does make you feel better when you see nothing everywhere. If that makes sense.

I know I like threads like this because living on the east coast when the westies say "we have this" I know to wait three weeks and start looking.
the MA sightings thread is great and has turned me on to some great leads. I have a Mandarin and comic whiplash thanks to the MA sightings board.

Made a stop at TRU by my house and saw a ton of the last wave, maybe 5 each of Rogers, Ultron, Dr Doom, X23 and some other random older wave stuff. Here i thought that wave would be hard to track down. No new wave sightings for me yet.
