I have a friend who owns a machine and creates amazing scenery for MU, I simply wanted to share some of his work because it's well worth at least a look!

It's a laser wood cutting machine he spent loads of money on I know. Thousands. Has software you can load and design with and then cut. Can do the patterns for the bricks and everything. Sorry I don't know more without asking him.. He custom paints and builds it then though. His current project is a hall of armor for Iron Man suits. I can't wait to see that.

P.S. Still waiting on him to respond with more pics

I LOVE THIS!

Me and Symbiote were just discussing dioramas for our figures, but this...is just on a whole other level.

wow, I seen these wood cutting machines on line, it's basically a C & C machine but cuts patterns into wood/plastic etc same as the big ones used for metal. I love the detailing on the windows, man holes, etc he could easily design a layout for a building, alley way, steet corners etc.. make them un painted cuts down on his production cost and time and would make a killing selling them on ebay or here. I'd buy 1 and a sick hall of armour for my 6'' and 3 3/4'' scale.

they're pricey, round 5-10k for the machine, but the ability to make your own MU scale buildings, priceless.

I seriously want to meet your neighbour, what does he do for a living? Is he like a full time artist or is this just a hobby for him? Because assuming all the building were made out of thin sheets of wood, material cost wouldn't be 2 high, and assuming he made a pattern for the machine to cut it out, like most of them do, it gets stored in a mini hardrive either on the machine or on his computer that he can just reuse, he could litterally make a million off this. Market it either as a DIY/model kit, leave it unpainted and could sell it for cheap and sell a ton, or paint them and sell them for a lot more and make a ton haha. damn I want that machine haha.
