I don't know about this one for sure. its something I have not had for long and to be completly clear here it's something I am currently trying to sell on ebay. If what my research has turned up is true, it my be one of the rarest erectors to ever exist. I need your help though.

I think it is AC Gilbert Erector No. 10062 Steam Engine. I think that it was recalled after being on the market for less than a year, and the recalls that were turned into Gilbert were melted down to make other sets. I found a news article on the recall, and it said "for saftey reasons, the boiler can get hot and scald children".

I found an auction record of one selling for $475 in 2008 as well. I know the market forces have changed since then.

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Does anyone out there have one of these sets?
