Randy went on a Twitter Q&A streak yesterday with posting this.
I just went through and summarized interesting notes: Expect some reveals with the 12 Days of Downloads. Seemed like TMNT will def have reveals next Tuesday, definitely Mousers Brody not coming to the Jaws line Bruce is coming in 2022 for Jaws 10 more Toony Terrors coming They're not licensing Beatlejuice for realistic figures, so only cartoon/toony terrors style Nothing TMNT up for order before the end of the year Comic TMNT should be coming next year A TMNT party van is coming, but we all knew that An open PO for movie turtles may come SOTO Shredder coming in the Spring Something Big is coming for the Predator line Mad Max isn't available for licensing to anyone 1/4 scale TMNT Cartoon figures still coming Nothing Shining outside of Toony Terrors, he said "I wish" to the comments, so it's the Nicholson likeness obviously ED-209 re-issue coming No chance for a Sydney figure from Scream, he said "no chance." I'm not sure if for licensing or b/c it won't sell Accessory packs for Universal Monsters coming, one pack should work for B&W/Color versions. We should prepare for "A LOT" of Universal Monsters in 2022 Asked about Hammer Horror coming "When we have time to work on them" More Chucky Ultimates are a 'maybe' Asked about BttF Mad Dog Tannen "Still have not touched 3. Hope we get there but uncertain" - That's a pretty concerning quote... No Ultimate Candy Man or Victor Crowley Nothing else from Halloween Kills coming "Definitely NOT" on Jeepers Creepers No plans for Robocop 2 Cain More musician/rock band figures coming More coming for They Live |

Hope They Live is Ultimates. If it's more Retro Cloth 8in then it's probably just Holly and another alien.

Yeah, they've reissued ed-209 a couple of times already so not too surprising another reissue is coming since they're releasing those robocops next year. I highly doubt it will be at that $60-70 price point this time lol.
Disappointed about Hammer...it doesnt seem to be a priority for them. Wonder what's going on with that.. |

I wonder which TMNT comic stuff they have planned, probably the original mirage stuff still. It would be cool to start getting some of the Archie comic stuff. It would go so great with the Cartoon line!

Add me in for the disappointment with the seeming hammer delay, but on the bright side if the universal stuff is selling well for them (as it seems to be) then I can't imagine they'll leave the Hammer figure money on the table. I just want my Cushing frankenstein and Lee monster lab set darnit!

Very cool to see a Mirage Fugitoid teased.
Interesting that the yellow and green jumpsuit repaints of April are no longer in the Mirage checklist after being shown in last year's list. Maybe NECA decided not to release them. It's just as odd that the blue suit April (which actually DID get a release years ago) wasn't in last year's list but is now correctly included in the 2021 checklist. Here's last year's checklist for comparison: https://news.toyark.com/wp-content/u..._VG_Mirage.jpg Last edited by ShabbyBlue; 12-15-2021 at 02:56 PM.. |

Also I'm concerned about them basically putting off Hammer Horror for now. I wonder if there's more to it that they aren't revealing, after announcing the license back in October 2020 and then revealing nothing for over a year now.
If Universal Monsters is selling better than they expected and they want to just focus to doing more of that for now, as others here are speculating, then why would they assume that Hammer Horror wouldn't sell just as well if not more so if released alongside some of their Uni Monsters figures, especially when they haven't even tested the waters yet with a single release? I bet a 7" Peter Cushing Van Helsing and Christopher Lee Dracula would sell huge. So again, their procrastination with this line and apparent disinterest in doing anything with it for the next however many months seems very strange. If they've already paid for the licensing rights, their money is going to waste if they aren't putting out any product yet. Randy's comments seem to suggest nothing is even in production yet, which means it could be 2023 before we even see the first Hammer figure (assuming they even bother doing anything at all). The uncertainty about the future of the BTTF line is troubling too. They (or retailers) may have overestimated the demand for it, hence so many figures still shelfwarming at Target and Walmart, and that could be why Randy seems uncertain about its future. I love the line and really want to at least get Old West Marty, Doc, and Buford Tannen before they call it quits. Also why hasn't Griff gone up for preorder yet?! He was revealed months ago, even before 1985 Doc was revealed and offered for preorder. I hope they aren't cancelling Griff. I wonder what the "big" thing for Predator is that he mentioned. At this point I just want them to finish putting out the rest of the Lost Tribe upgrades. The sudden halt with those and long delay has been annoying. Other than that, the only "big" thing with Predator that would excite me now is a Danny Glover Harrigan figure from Predator 2, but Randy always seems to shoot that request down either because of issues getting Glover's likeness rights or because he doesn't think it would sell. I strongly disagree with the later assumption because a lot of fans keep asking for it and there's potential to do 2 or 3 repaints/retools of the character like they did with all the different versions of Dutch, so it is totally worth making a Harrigan. It would also compliment all the Lost Tribe figures very well in a display. Was anything asked or mentioned about future Aliens plans? Wasn't it rumored that NECA would be doing a plainclothes Dallas and Lambert to finish the Nostromo crew since all we have for both of them so far is the spacesuit versions? Mego was announced alongside Neca in that October announcement and have had some releases since then. Maybe that has something to do with keeping them in a holding pattern.

That shouldn't interfere with NECA's plans, unless they were intending to do similar 8" cloth versions as well (which I know myself and many others were hoping isn't the case). A plastic 7" line that is comparable to the Universal Monsters line should definitely be the way to go.

Does anyone know if Granitor and Traag video game style appearance has been abandoned by neca. They were shown at an event like three years ago and this is the first time I have seen them anywhere since mentioned online.

The fact that they appear in this new checklist indicates NECA is probably planning to finally release them next year

Awesome! Seeing that version of Granitor is what got me back into collecting.

Great news about Black Noir. Butcher would be a higher priority for me personally, but I'm glad to see the Boys line continue in any form.

I wish they would say something about the cartoon TMNT April figure.
Or at least give us a Turtles in Time version so I can head swap. I don't even display my cartoon Turtles because of April. |

I just wonder if they will ever do a Freddy Krueger for Freddy vs Jason? Can they not do one because of the rights of the movie?

Any word on when the Halloween kills Michael will be out? I've had mine pre ordered at BBTS since it was announced and it keeps getting delayed.

It's already hitting some retail places these last several weeks. I've seen sightings on Facebook at Walmart and Target all over the country, and I personally found him at Walmart over 2 weeks ago. I cancelled my BBTS preorder right after that. Not sure why BBTS and other e-tailers still haven't gotten him considering he's been showing up in stores for roughly a month now.
