Would love to snag a Reeve Superman.

Pity that NECA can't do a lot more DC characters - and offer international shipping through their own store.

100% agree. I was a kid when this movie came out, and it was my jam. I loved it.

If there is such a thing as a TRU item number, would one be so kind as to provide us with it?

Actually NECA isn't allowed to sell this themselves it has to be through Warner Bros own vendors. The ability to buy the figures in store without the DVD is TRU's decision/mess up.

Is that a feckin' joke!?!? He was a mentally handicapped piece of broccoli in Batman and Robin. Beyond his use of Venom there was nothing in that film that was characteristic of Bane. Nolan may have made him a European Vader-impersonator but at least he was intelligent and skilled, not just strong.

They don't ship to US Protectorates. What a crock. I just love being in this hobby and experiencing second-class citizenship. Guess I'll have to wait until they're released on the Toys R Us website or whatever.

Would any caring Toyark members be willing to help out their northern brethren and sell a couple Jokers to me? I'm a customiser who's been patiently waiting for NECA to make a 7" DK Joker since the movie was released in 2008. Though because I'm Canadian, I have no access to them. Please.... Help a Canuck out.

I would likewise appreciate help or advice with the Reeve Superman figure. Added expense and logistics notwithstanding, the international restriction is a mystery to me.

It's because, officially, it's a Warner Bros. USA DVD promo item. Would be up to different arms of WB to offer to their regions.

I'll keep an eye out for the brethren in Maple land. My TRU still has Keaton Batman, so I should have easy access to these within the next couple of weeks.

Attention everyone: please DO NOT buy these from eBay sellers asking for 60+ dollars! They will be plentiful in just a few days, and the more we buy in store, the more successful it'll be, and if it does well enough, we may even see a 7-inch Robin and Devito Penguin!!!

I saw some guy selling the Joker for $100, THAT'S a joke (especially since the 1/4 figure is about that much). I'd like to think that the Keaton Batman is what convinced WB to let NECA make these and that maybe more will come as a result of these too, the ship date from their eBay store can't come soon enough!

Also if some of you just can not find these then be patient, goHastings.com had the Batman for months after its initial release and since my eBay bill for this order listed them as the store actually receiving the payment I'm pretty sure these'll eventually end up on their site too.

Yeah, I had a guy actually talking to me about these figures in my line yesterday (thankfully he didn't see I had them behind the counter) and he told me he bought FIVE of the Keaton Batman to resell! (he also called himself an, honest to Gosh, "wannabe scalper") But yeah, our stores NECA vendor said they're definitely open to more figures if these initial ones do well, and while I don't see them doing the Arkham Origins/Knight figures in 7 inch, we've still got Robin and the Penguin!

I feel like the rule will be "if DCC has already done it (like the Arkham game figures) then NECA can't." NECA could totally do the Christian Bale Batman though since they're making him in 1/4 scale next, they could also do the Henry Cavill Superman but I wouldn't care about that one.

My thoughts exactly Man, this is probably the most excited I've been about a series of figures in a looooong time, it's even edged out all the new ML figures in terms of excitement levels!

Here's the UPC for joker if anyone needs it.

As for the batman and robin movie... What a stinker lol. I was like 13 when it came out and the nipples and the acting... Wow. It killed batman movies... Not a right of passage, not the worst movie ever, but the worst batman movie ever....

Hi Zorn, I'd like to take you up on that. If there's something that you're looking for in the interim, maybe we could work it out at least partly as some kind of trade. EDIT: PLEASE DISREGARD. I'VE CHANGED MY MIND. SEE BELOW.

Oh yay....awesome. More "exclusives" that I will never see unless I open up my wallet to Ebay scalpers...

I said this on one of the other threads, but I really wanna air my grievances about it again...I'm glad to see everyone's been able to find the new NECA figures. Kinda pisses me off actually, not because you guys are finding them, but because plain and simply put, my local TRUs blow. One of them is a half store with a Babies R' Us, and the other one carries completely different items, is on the other side of town, and is constantly pillaged by folks who drive across the Mexican border who do their shopping there (as it resides across the street from our largest shopping mall. And I'm not kidding, you will find more cars with Sinaloa or Sonoran license plates in it's parking lot than you will with Arizona ones on any given day of the week.) On top of that, that same TRU also is picked over daily by a locally owned toy shop in the mall that then re-sells them at scalper prices.

Those facts aside, neither one of them ever got the Keaton Batman last year at all, and I sure as hell know I will never see any of these either. It's really disappointing, because I dig that Reeves Superman, and still want Keaton Batman if I ever get around to it, QC issues and all.

I really just wish that companies would ease off of exclusives, especially when it comes to retailers with less than stellar track records like TRU and Walmart. It's really starting to zap the fun out of the game. Had they made these Gamestop, Hastings, Amazon, or Walgreens exclusives, I would have hope. Hell...even Target has gotten better (with the exception of that Shadow Squadron box set last year...but even then, I was still able to find it thank goodness..) But seeing the word exclusive with "TRU" or "Walmart" right in front of it seriously makes me want to mail a box of my feces to the company providing said exclusives.

Unfortunately, that's not true. The picture on the back with the Batusi hands is from the 1/4 version and not this one. There's TWO extra hands total (one for holding the communicator and one for the batarang) besides the fists he already has on.

And yes, watch the paint. Some of them look like the gray had been sitting out in the rain while it was still wet. Of the five at my TRU, I picked the best one and it still wasn't great.

But everything else is much, much better than the Mattel version for the same price.
