Nice. Justice Society (Kingdom Come) Superman is still my favourite in some respects, a big improvement over the two previous Justice League versions.

IMHO, you have the best realistically-detailed Superman figures available on this scale.

I'm still kinda hoping the Reeves Superman will become available to Canadian collectors. <sigh>

Does he have the same problems with the paint that the Adam West Batman does where it looks like he's got sweat stains on his torso? I only ask because it seems like Superman has the same texture on the majority of his costume. Thanks!

Some guy on Twitter showed that he found his at TRU, as I've previously said before though not every TRU is locked to get these so results will vary.

I found this display at 1 TRU out of 3 I went to last week.
No Joker at any but I did see a couple Adam West. I only want Joker and Superman.
I did see this sign also and it says Superman is not part of the promo so that might explain why he has not seemed to show up.

Technically it's not exactly an exclusive, it's a limited production. I hope either you have better results next time or people on eBay stop being assholes with the prices.

Got some (possibly) bad news about these figures, I was handling the UPS delivery at my store today when the NECA box came in, and all that was in there was two Reeve Supermen and one West Batman hopefully that's just a mistake on their part, but I'm worried these will have an extremely limited release in stores... Also, the paints on all three figures were pretty sub-par. Luckily I had my choice of the four Batmen we got in our first shipment, so I got one I'm happy with, but those were the only two Supermen I've seen so far, and they both had problems; sloppy emblems, blue paint showing through the neck, flesh tone paint on his hair... I really had to settle with mine :P Thankfully I think I can touch up any problems, but you shouldn't have to fix a toy right out of the box!

I'm holding out hope that superman becomes available via an online seller, like the west batman eventually did. i'd gauge that supes is about a week or so behind the other figures, so-if it does happen-it should be fairly soon.

Pretty much done "hunting" for Supes, wasting time and gas for a figure I sort of want just for nostalgia's sake and which will probably fall apart if I breathe on it,if he comes to me,I'll probably get it but I'm done looking for it!

I'd say mine has zero fragility issues. It was pretty cold when I first opened it because it had been left on the porch for hours but after warming it up with a hairdryer everything moved pretty smoothly. As with a lot of NECA toys the joints can be tighter than what would be considered ideal but they don't feel like they'd actually break unless excessive force was used. All 3 of these current DC figures seem a hell of a lot better than Keaton Batman was when it came to QC issues.

My first Keaton broke at the right knee, found another a month later and it was perfect. Just not worth the aggravation Reeve is giving me.

I feel your pain, brother. I am officially done looking for this stupid thing. My local Toys R Us got a ton of the movie accurate Keaton Batman figures and I found the Ledger Joker and Adam West Batman just a few hours after I saw this thread for the first time. I wasn't anticipating Supes being such a hard to find figure. I have swung by TRU on my way home from work every morning for the past week without any luck. The employees I've spoken to must all have been seasonal, because they don't really seem to know anything about the store and don't seem to care. I don't understand why this has to be such a hard to find exclusive. People have been clamoring for a Chris Reeve Superman in this scale for so long that it should be like printing money for the folks at Neca. I'm just going to stick with my custom until someone gets around to making an affordable Chris Reeve Superman I don't have to kill myself trying to hunt down.

They're 7" scale exactly, I can post some pics later but they should generally be the same size as most DCC figures although DCC sometimes wavers and isn't always exactly in the 7" scale. They're definitely bigger than DCUC since those were basically 6" scale.

FOUND HIM! Bear with me please,so I said I wasn't going to actively hunt him down,so instead I decided to go to Target and get a couple of the LEGO Xmas tree polybags, just so happens the TRU is just across the street so I pop in and see 4xJokers,4xBatmans and 3xSupes,2 of the Supes have bad paint so I pick the acceptable one, which has some red paint on the inner thigh.I had read on The Fwoosh that someone in town had found 4 of each at another TRU so I decided to check yet another TRU (there are 4) and they also had 4 of each, found an absolutely perfect one(others had bad symbols) heated up every joint with water and hair dryer and I am done, only minor quip is the rubbed off paint right out of the package on the wrist joints but considering the horror stories,I consider myself lucky!

We can blame Mattel and DC/WB for the lack of broad access to these figures. Mattel has master rights for DC toys and NECA is usually only allowed to make the quarter-scale stuff because Mattel has no interest in the scale, 7" figures are normally off the table as per licensing deal. These (including Keaton Batman from last year) were only permitted because they're part of a DVD bundle offer and weren't actually meant for individual sale. I imagine if Mattel didn't have master rights then NECA would've made these a good while ago by now. DCC is of course allowed to make DC stuff all the time because they are DC.

Is it really "lucky?" I got mine through the eBay store so I didn't bother really looking them over when my store finally got them but from what I've seen (mainly on Twitter) these figures are generally pretty decent on the QC area. They certainly seem improved over Keaton Batman and I've only seen the Superman have real breakage chances. West Batman and Ledger Joker I'm sure have some bad results out there too but it could be much worse I reckon.

I saw 7 and 5 had really bad paint apps on the symbol and belt loops, another had the red paint smudge on the thigh and the other was pretty much perfect.

Yeah, I guess Superman's the problem figure of the three.

Well that's not a QC problem but yeah I didn't even take those out of the box.

Yeah,West is flawless, gave him the same water/hair dryer treatment just in case and Joker was good right out of the box too.
