God, I hope The Thing rights get sorted out someday soon, I feel like an Alien/ The Thing comic would sell like gangbusters!

Man I really want that Brett. The Harry Dean Stanton figure that I really really want is Bud from Repo Man, but that feels very unlikely.

They've said three waves of three. So i'm thinking other than Brett and Parker it's going to be re-releases albeit with new face printing and possibly some upgraded joints and accessories.

Dallas - Space Suit (confirmed)
Big chap prototype suit (confirmed)
Ripley - Jumpsuit (confirmed)

Big Chap (confirmed)
Parker (confirmed)
Brett (confirmed)

Ripley - space suit (speculation)
Lambert - space suit (speculation)
Kane - space suit (speculation)

Given they are doing a re-release of the standard Dallas i think it's incredibly likely they'll redo Lambert and Kane. That said, Lambert was released more recently (2017 v 2013/14) and can still be found at retail so perhaps they will pass on her.

I wonder if the likeness issues persist for Kane? If so that would make it hard to do much with him other than a facehugged version sans spacesuit. I don't mind getting a new space suit Kane as the black wash on mine was greasy and rubbed off. Would be great if they somehow get us an extra head without facehugger! That said, if they gave us a kane in his white shirt and shorts with a facehugger that would be a suitable solution. My ideal Kane would be one with an exchangeable chest.

Would be great to get Jumpsuit variants of Dallas and Lambert clearly they have their likeness so here's hoping they do them one way or another. Perhaps SDCC/NYCC exclusives or perhaps i am entirely wrong in respect to the list above.

So far Brett and Parker are absolute musts.
We need Lambert and Dallas with better likenesses and non-space suited.

And I hope they have got Hurt's and Holme's likenesses rights, but I'm not holding my breath. Depending on the wishes of their families, and money, possibly. Fingers close.

Will probably get a new big chap as long as is classic and not fluorescent pink or somesuch.

An Ash figure was hinted and it sounds like a likeness for John hurt was hinted also. Neca on Twitter said 3 all new figure sculpts for these 3 waves. I definitely think Ash is coming as well as Brett and Parker. I think one of the figures though will be a Kane in Compression suit.
I think one of the waves possibly wave 2 will be Brett, Parker and a blood splattered big chap alien my guess is Walmart for that wave but I could be wrong. I think the third wave will be online stores and Ash, compression suit Kane and compression suit Lambert. I keep hoping for maybe a Kane in jumpsuit or Dallas or Lambert in Jumpsuit but they might do those in the future. All I know for sure is 3 all new sculpts and at least 2 big chap alien figures. Also, new Ripley and Dallas in compression suit.

We know Brett and Parker are definitely coming so, I wanted to clear that up. Very exciting year for Alien and Aliens hopefully for 2021 also with the 35th anniversary next year of Aliens. After a lackluster few years at least for me buying Alien figures. Definitely looking forward to these figures.

It definitely sounds like they got Ian Holm's likeness. This was mentioned in a tweet last week from neca possibly Randy Falk mentioned it cryptically. And possibly John Hurt's likeness also, but I think they will do a compression suit Kane before a jumpsuit Kane. As much as I and everyone wants the crew in jumpsuits. Getting Brett, Parker and Ash is pleasing for me this year

My list of these waves is
Possibly target exclusive
Dallas in compression suit confirmed
Big chap prototype confirmed
Ripley jumpsuit confirmed

Possibly Walmart exclusive
Brett confirmed
Parker confirmed I hope
Big chap blood splattered confirmed I think

Online retailers
Ash speculation but neca hints at his likeness rights being secured
Kane in compression suit speculation
Lambert in compression suit speculation

I could be wrong on the last 2 figures but they kinda make sense. Neca said 3 all new figures sculpts for these waves. But hinting at other likenesses also. Hopefully we will see Lambert, Kane and Dallas in jumpsuits in a few years to finish the Alien movie line. So they can possibly focus on Aliens. But I could be totally wrong and we could get Ash, and 2 Kane figures and sdcc we could get Lambert and Dallas in jumpsuits to finish the line. It is possible.

I think getting a Lambert, Dallas, and possibly Kane in jumpsuits as con exclusives is entirely feasible this year. I think neca is pushing to finish the Alien line this year because of the anniversary and because Disney owns the alien movie rights and the future is uncertain with toys with disney. Total speculation but with the anniversary this would be a good year to finish the Alien movie line.

From what I read on their twitter, Target, Wal-Mart and one other retailer I can't remember each get an exclusive wave of 3 figures, so 9 total, which really chaps my ass haha

Edit: just found it, apparently specialty shops get their own wave:

Not happy about this exclusive bullshit, either. It ultimately means that if you want every figure you'll have to pay out the ass to scalpers.

That's a nice "fuck you" from NECA to their fans.

Are you looking in the right place? NECA figures can be found in the electronics section of Walmart, just like at Target. There's a whole aisle there near the video games aisles where they have NECA figures on pegs or the shelf. They aren't going to be in the toy section of the store. The last time I was at a Walmart they had several figures of IT, Friday the 13th, and Godzilla in that section. So I'm not too concerned about finding the exclusive Alien figures there.

I've thoroughly checked through the entire electronic sections of all my local stores and all they have collector-wise are Funko pops and the McFarlane game figures.

Mine doesn't even carry those anymore. My local Gamestop stopped carrying Neca and the closest Target is 60 miles away, so I'm relegated to online shopping. Hopefully, the Sigourney Weaver isn't hard to get.

I'm pretty sure I saw NECA tease an ultimate Ripley for the first movie, but it might have just been something for the 40th anniversary line and I'm confused.

I wonder what else they might include this time for Ripley. The first version came with the flamethrower and Jones the cat. The Hot Toys Ripley figure included the tracking device and the carrier for Jones, so hopefully NECA offers those accessories this time. I can't think of anything else to add that would make it an "Ultimate" figure beyond that. If a better painted face is all they do this time without those extra accessories, then I'll just pass on buying it.
