I will buy several of these as the renegade was my all time favorite predator!

This is an awesome set, I no longer have my originals but they are fondly remembered. If the Kenner style packaging comes out as cool as I am hoping, I might need a second set to keep carded. |

A lot of people did not care for the previously released version of Renegade, as it was based off of a Kenner re-deco. For many of us, (myself included,) this is the color schemed version of Renegade Predator that we know and love. This has me excited for a number of reasons, one being the swappable heads (something that I hope they keep doing,) with the other being that this will make a decent army builder set, since Renegade is fairly close to the original Predator in color and design. Really hope they can find a way to include the comic insert from the Kenner toys (which I still have!) |

The swappable head is what really sells it for me. That and the brown armor always reminded me of the Predator Hunter from the AvP arcade game and that's the one I always played as. Wonder what the chances are of getting figures made from that game? |

I really hope this doesn't end up being an exclusive.

While I do friggin' like the series 13 Renegade, this is the original look. Can't wait to have both Renegades side by side. The dark purple-ish alien dome also looks swell.

I've noticed I've been collected all the remakes of the Kenner ones I had. This 2pk is another. Wow. I had a lot of Aliens/Preds in high school...

Within the movies, Crucified from Predators is almost identical to Jungle Hunter. It's up to the consumer to decide but yeah I could see this Renegade being bland enough to have multiple in a setup as filler, or maybe a group with a similar sense of fashion and skin tone.

Renegade is hinted in the Dark Horse comic that was packed in with the original Kenner toy as being very brash and inexperienced, almost like a grunt fresh out of basic training. Being that he brandishes a laser rifle (something nearly no yautja does) and has nothing all that unique about his bio mask or armor, I like to think of him as a "private" who has yet to earn his stripes, making him perfect fodder material for hungry Xenos.... |

OR... the This renegade could be perfect to do some custom work on. Good army builder Xeno and a few spare Renegade to add some little touches to. Like how Hicks and Hudson have almost the same outfits but the little details make each their own. Someone could do that here also and make a squad of grunt Preds :-)

It says it's to be released in the fall so there's a wee bit of a wait but it should definitely be worth it.

It matches Kenner perfectly though, except for the release order of course. The original Renegade with the brown armor was available in the two pack and later (I think it was exclusive to KB Toys) a purple armored green Renegade was released individually. NECA is taking the old figures and switching the release orders for the repaints. Now Nightstorm came before Scavage, Lava before Cracked Tusk, and green Renegade before brown Renegade. I wonder if they'll have the two pack bio say this the other Renegade's brother or if they're meant to be the same guy. Being the same guy wouldn't make much sense seeing as their skin coloring doesn't at all match. Edit: Figured I'd add on here that on Twitter they said the included comic will be a reprint of the original Dark Horse comic from the original two pack.

Hell yes I am going to get this! Probably just one, but yeah. I can already imagine taking some cool pics of the two Renegades side by side (or back to back) fighting my xenomorphs.

I don't get it either. But if I collected this line, I would've spent 500 bucks on repaints with some swapped body parts by now. From the pics it looks like it's still the same body parts with the netting sculpted on. Have the netting or don't. Don't keep using the same sculpt for the nude flesh. |

Big fan of the Alien and Predator movies but don't know much about the Kenner figures, simply due to never being aware of them until recently. Having said that, I think this looks great!
