I really like the elite series but I don't have any people figures and this is a good reason why, I mean WTF?
Why would you even bother Is he wearing a white shirt with brown sleeves and a vest? Why not just give him a white shirt with no jacket if it was going to be that bad?

Best sculpt of the year. The wonders of modern technology! And the paint really brings out the highlights in Han's hair. It really is the spitting image of Harrison Ford as Han Solo. At this price, it's a bargain. I mean, come ON.

I like they gave him the silver hair color since it was brown for the 6 inch black series Han. And it does look pretty close to Han Solo/Harrison Ford in the face for likeness. I don't think it's a bad figure.

After releasing the brown-haired one, if I remember correctly, Hasbro showed off one with corrected grey hair at Toy Fair back in Feb I believe. They never released it by repacking it in a later case like with the updated Rey and Kylo, but they should have. Besides, no merch that I can remember that came out within 6 months of the movie's release had Han with grey hair. Hasbro, Funko, etc. all had brown hair for some reason.

Hmm. I never really got into the TFA merch when the movie came out. I always thought maybe why he had brown hair was because of the EU Han who had aged but in these "Half Price books" I read about the next generations with Jacen and Jaina, he still had his brown hair.

It could be maybe they wanted to make him look a little younger. I don't know that could be a subjective thing trying to appeal to more buyers in that way. Han had grey/silver hair in the film and if they had those readily available I probably would have gotten him right off the bat like 50 of him because after the movie..I think we were all emotionally compromised. The brown hair didn't cut the trauma. I'm glad the Disney Store gave him the grey hair.

I wasnt, I figured he was a goner since ford had wanted han to go the way of dodo since empire. I hope now we can get dash rendar (i think chris pratt would make a great dash, maybe even jensen ackles or that guy who plays riggs on the lethal weapon tv show ) leebo and the outrider in the movies.

That would be freaking amazing! I agree that Chris Pratt would be perfect for Dash. Jensen Ackles is a pretty good choice too. I know that was always Ford's wish for Han to go out in sacrifice. Ford also wanted that for Han in ROTJ but Lucas kept him alive.
Which personally the end of the ROTJ was one of my favorite Star Wars endings. ESB's ending is probably the best one for me.

I was always hoping that these future movies would be like the EU or inspired by them which sadly isn't canon anymore. Kylo Ren is pretty much Jacen Solo in err a nutshell and Han Solo in the EU still had plenty to do in the stories. Luke, Leia and Han and we even had Mara Jade who was the Empire's Hand.

the richard gere comment almost made me spit out my coffee. yeah, its cool that he has his accurate hair color i guess. found it ironic that hasbro's krennic figure is sporting a gray head of hair while han isn't, even though mendelson's hair isn't as gray as ford's is.

Yeah. It just makes you wonder if Hasbro was hesitant on marketing an older Han. As I noticed even the funko pops is like a pale brown not even that accurate to the grey or silver he had.
