I'm really not a fan of this scale. It's such a shame that Mattel is ruining the 6" scale.

The Mattel stuff just needs a little love. Look on my Twitter page and see what I've done to the Mattel ones @rheynger

The Mattel stuff sucks,we shouldn't have to fix their mistakes, all these figs needed was some ML style articulation but Mattel is too damn cheap!

I'd love that but I think it's pretty unlikely. The other 7" Q's were probably a nice one off thing. But I guess if they've sold well there's a chance, but NECA made it sound like there was a lot of luck that they could put out the others without stepping on someone else's licensing toes.

They're special releases partnered directly with WB. Supposed to be available only with DVD/movie purchases (though stores are usually lax on that requirement). Could potentially happen again, but may not for Batfleck.

Don't you mean "ugliest shit" from Hasbro? I'm not sure Marvel is that heavily involved in the toy business beyond checking their profits.

Not me,to each his own though,I bought all four when they came out but after having them in hand and seeing that articulation (or lack thereof) the buyer's remorse made me put them on eBay,thankfully they sold.If NECA or DCC don't make 7 inch versions then I guess I'll live without them cause I'm not paying Mezco or Mafex prices!

I don't think DCC has made figures of movie stuff before, not that I can remember. They do statues and other trinkets, don't remember figures.

They haven't and it sucks because there's a bunch of DC movie figures I'd normally buy but instead I had to wait for NECA to make limited releases of Ledger Joker and Reeve Superman. I think they did Watchmen movie toys, but that's the only one I can imagine and I might be wrong. I would love to have a good 7" Dark Knight Two-Face to go with my NECA Joker, I think Aaron Eckhart's contribution to that movie doesn't get enough praise.

I second that. I hate that he didn't get more time as Two-Face. Should've scarred him then saved Two-Face for the next movie instead of whatever Rises was supposed to be.

Nah it was pretty great the way they handled it. I feel it perfectly captured how Harvey was in the Long Halloween, where even though he was scarred in part 7 he didn't fully become Two-Face until the finale. It's good to really spend more time with Harvey and thus really cement the tragedy of him becoming Two-Face. Rises was a mess though but I still like it and unlike many I can respect what they tried doing with Bane.

Fair enough. I would've loved for Dark Knight to be Long Halloween and the next movie to be Dark Victory.

The head of this 1/4 scale figure is ass ugly. |

How would you pose that 1/4 scale figure without knee joints? Do you just lean it against a wall? How exciting. Given suitable joint articulation and a good sculpt, a 7" NECA Batfleck would be cool. |

				 | Quote: It's not just this 1/4 scale figure, it's whoever designed the suit for the movie. It's obvious they were going for the stockiness of the DKR suit except that was a stylized comic not Ben Affleck in a suit. This sculpt looks accurate, it's just a poor look.

Thanks. You can't tell from the photo, but it figures that some of those 30POA must include the knees. Well said, and I think that fits with my comment that they wanted to avoid a pointy-eared Iron Man. It's remarkable that they didn't go with something more flashy and techological, considering the excellent alternatives introduced in the Arkham video games, among other places. I would love to have seen something resembling the slick robot-sentries from Alex Ross's Kingdom Come. |

Hasbro puts out fantastic Marvel product, and using tons of the same molds over and over. They're the kings of mass market merchandise, and nothing you could say would change that.
