The Infinite Heroes line debuted with an excellent pricepoint at Target. With figures from other lines in the same scale, such as Indiana Jones, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, and Hellboy, the Infinite Heroes figures have the least amount of articulation. Despite that, this line has it's fans. Mattel has said that more articulation might be added next year.

If more articulation were added, would you buy these figures? I am holding off until I see what the new articulation will be like, and how it will affect the figure. If the articulation is at least on par with fully articulated Star Wars figures, I will buy more starting with the figures with added articulation.

Definitely. At least at the level of G.I. Joes, if they can't hit Marvel Legends articulation. I'm holding off as well, but I was tempted yesterday while I eyed wave 1 and 2 at the store.

No, The articulation (While a bit of a problem) isn't my main problem. I could care less if the Black Hand has 59 points of articulation, I still don't know who the Black Hand is. Almost all the single figures are people I've never heard of. I'm not a big DC fan so this doesn't surprise me much, but there definately should be more of the main core characters in singles. Instead we seem to be only able to get most of the main characters in 3 packs, if we can find them that is

I'm already buying them and extra points to move is just a plus, my main complaint is how hard it is to find any other than the first 5 that were released. I've had to get almost all of mine of ebay.

I buy them anyway so I didn't vote

But I would pay a bit extra if it meant higher standards of quality like better paint apps, articulation etc.

I have to say it is hard to get excited about these figures. They are obscure and just the fact that the articulation sucks makes it difficult to buy. I'm a no.

I like the fact that they are doing obscure characters, but I think there is just something lacking about them. Maybe it is the lack of articulation.

More articulation would be a plus, but the main reason I'm not buying these is most of them are just plain butt-ugly sculpts. If these had the quality sculpts of the 6" DC Universe figures I'd be all over them.

I too like the obcure characters they're bringing, but also agree it's weird that they're doing so many at the beginning. I don't think not knowing who a character is keeps me from buying the fig, tho. If the fig is cool, it gets bought and I'll figure out who he/she/it is later.

But the lack of good articulation isn't the only thing keeping me from buying this. They're just shiat figures overall. The articulation prevents them from looking right in *any* pose other than just standing there, but they're also sculpted pretty piss-poorly. The monkey hands, the teeny heads, the incompetent way Hawkman is shorter than *everyone* else in the line thus far. The figs just fail in pretty much every category.

I've bought Adam Strange and the Hawkman 3pack, and the actual figures are getting tossed straight in the trash in favor of using their gear to custom up actual action figures.

So, yeah; adding articulation (and no, SW-level isn't enough as them damnable swivel hips suck rancid rhino taint); but it'd just be the first of several steps they need to take to be comparable.

I would like to buy these but the serious lack of articulation keeps me from it.
