I completely disagree. The ab crunch is essential in creating dramatic poses (hence why the waist is always curved in action sequences in comics); therefore the "true" action figure does have an ab crunch. You might as well call it a statue without it.
I don't mind if the ab crunch is visible as long as the proportions of the figure and the sculpt overally is cool.

I appreciate what you're saying, and obviously, you represent a large body, maybe a majority, of collectors.

No doubt, you would find my collection quite boring, given that everybody is in a standing or sitting position, and all their abdomens are 100% crunch-free.
