Looks great, but I really can't see this line selling. Almost nobody remembers this cartoon, and they front loaded the wave clearly because they don't have much faith, either.

But maybe the scalpers will help it sell, since Walmart exclusives by NECA seem to be prime on Ebay.

Yeah and wasn't the 30 day mark supposed to begin Feb 1st (or "early February" from what I heard)? If so, then Walmart is taking a leisurely time about putting these temporary exclusives on shelves or on their website given that we're almost halfway into a very short month. I guess they don't realize the short window of time in which they can sell these before anyone else gets a shot. So come early March when BBTS and other places can sell these, Walmart is going to be stuck with pegwarmers like with all the Skeletor and He-Man Origins figures still collecting dust there.

Walmart's site says one store has 1 each of Defenders of Earth in stock but won't let me purchase them online.
Anybody know what # to have an associate confirm by phone?

Why does Walmart's site say these are "available for purchase online" when I can't order them online? When I tried the stores its site said had them in stock, they were sold out.

These finally went up for pre-order at BBTS yesterday. Phantom sold out pretty quickly. They put up more stock two additional times and it continued to sell out. Pretty crazy.

These are really beautiful figures. We know what DC would look like under NECA, but I wonder what Marvel would look like. I really hope NECA can get some sort of deal with WB and release higher end figures.

They did Marvel before. Those bucks were also used for Neca's quarter scale Deadpool and Daredevil. They looked great too, it's a really good superhero buck.

I loved those but I want to see what they could do in the 6-7 inch scale.

Chinese sellers have been selling a 7 inch version of the 1/4 Deadpool for a little while now and it's really awesome figure, one of my favorite figures in my collection actually. A line of Marvel figures like that would be beyond thrilling.

Yes! Would love Neca to handle Marvel in this scale. Wish they had the license instead of DST (who admittedly have gotten better but still pale in comparison to Neca).

I saw that. I may have to bite just to see it in person.
