Went to a local Target over the weekend. They had the same NECA stuff that's popping up. No surprises, but the section was a disaster area. Things haphazardly thrown about. IT wasn't a very big dedicated NECA area either. Just a few pegs for Ultimate, half a shelf for plush and Portal's Chell, and one row of pegs for Godzilla.

When you say "IT" are you referring to Pennywise IT or the area in general? 'Cause I'm hoping my target gets Pennywise in

No, just a finger held onto the shift key for too long.

However, yes, Target will carry at least the 2017 Pennywise.

Nearly every one of my local Targets missed the memo. They didn't even have any products, nor did they even have a space set aside for them.

I went to 3 Targets this weekend. Different stuff in different stores. One had large and small plushie Gizmos, two rows of Mortal Kombat figures in a He-Man style, some Godzillas, a portal character, and some Freddies and a Jason. Another Target had a little of the above, but added Neca keychain climbers. A third Target didn't expect to get Neca stuff until next week, and just had the banner up.

My Targets have done resets where the regular figures are farther in the back of the toy isle than they ever have been, but no NECA figures (or even price tags) at all in them.

Wish we still had a Books in the area - that closed around the time Borders did too - now it's a crappy $ store.

Means nothing if their stores don't have anything.

Exactly. A slap in the face really because it is unlikely my stores will have anything before the coupon expires.

It seems like, for the most part, Target is getting Freddy's, Jason's, Pennywise, Chucky, Godzilla (assorted), and Chell. A few random Target's have had Terminator and Robocop vs Terminator figures. Then there's the plush, bobbleheads and Scalers.

There's no current Alien or Predator waves to judge which of those they'll carry, though we know it won't be the Kenner assortments. They may or may not stock Evil Dead stuff.

On a related note, my Gamestop has the HL2 Gordon Freeman re-issue in stock. $29.99.

Ouch. That's a bit much. The good thing about GameStop is when they clearance stuff, they really clear that stuff out. So watch in a few months when they need room for new stock.

King Kong vs. Godzilla 6" Godzilla

NECA '62 up for preorder at BBTS. While I'd like to buy it at Target, who knows so I preordered there.

Mine is finally stocked. Part 4 & 6 Jason, NOES 1 & 2 Freddy, Chucky, Chell, Headknockers, Scalers, Kidrobot plush stuff, and so on. I used the 20% coupon to pick up a Kidrobot Jason Voorhees plush and an Ultimate Part 4 Jason. Was tempted to pick up Chucky as well, but I'm trying to be good.

That's an interesting section of the toy isle. Mine has nothing like that at all down the isle with the Star Wars nor the Marvel stuff.

Have you checked by the electronics? That's where the collectibles have been. On the back wall.

You mean where the Stranger Things figures are? If so, there's nothing there but empty space and Ricky and Morty crap.

Yep. That empty space is probably for NECA.

Yeah, the NECA stuff is in the electronics section of my Target as well, not the toy aisle.

Well in good news one of my Target stores has NECA stuff now. They had some Godzillas, all 4 versions of Jason, two versions of Freddy, Chucky, but sadly no Alien stuff nor the Friday the 13th display set.

I need to ask though, is it just me, or are the prices more than what they were at TRU? I could have sworn they were all $20 figures at TRU, but Target wanted $23 for the Godzilla items and $28 for the horror movie stuff.

There isn't any Alien stuff in circulation right now anyway and the only Predator is the ultimate for the new movie should be showing up soon-ish. I also don't know that anyone has shared finding the Friday accessory set at Target, which is a bummer because it never showed up at TRU to my knowledge.

I'm pretty sure this is just NECA raising their prices because even online vendors have prices matching these for all new items/pre-orders. I don't know the exact reason for it (I can only speculate possibilities) but it's not just Target.
