Ahhh. I get it. And I get what your saying. But honestly, I find that most "adult" oriented stuff still isn't written as well as Avatar and Korra. Ha.

I’m frustrated they didn’t make a whole new sculpt. I take it for granted that whoever got the Gargoyles license will treat it like TMNT or Batman animated series don’t reusing old sculpts from other line at least not on the main characters. That implied they might only want to make 1 or 2 characters.
So what? Even if they did (they didn't) it at least looks good.

True. It might have a mature viewership with jokes that go over kids heads or just graphic moments such as sex and violence. But what a lot of adult animation lacks is depth. Avatar has that. Gargoyles has that. Samurai Jack. Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated. Of course that's not an absolute truth about adult animation either. Speaking of which I've heard good stuff about Bojack Horseman. I need to watch that.

I’m totally going to buy all these Gargoyle figures they come out with.
Never would have expected it to come out in this day and age, what a dream come true.

Me too! The wing span scares me on these though. I’m thinking of flying stands or hanging them some how.

I completely agree. I just rewatched Avatar and LOK for the first time since release. The stories have aged incredibly well...they do not suffer at all from my advanced age LOL. Especially LOK. While S1 of Avatar starts off rocky by S2 the animation clearly benefits from an increased budget. I can't recommend the series enough. I'd love to see an Avatar S3.

Is this guy US-exclusive? Pre-orders for the NECA Nightmare Demon are available in Japan for example, but not for Goliath. None of my local German online retailers have it listed yet either.

I read on a forum that someone was trying to get it in the UK and they contacted their dealer and were told it's US only.

Then they should've said so from the start. I mean they eventually got the Turtles stuff out in Europe and Asia too but at least tell your customers what's up.

I've heard that apparently due to Disney that NECA isnt able to release these outside the US - does anyone know if this is true?

I wouldn't call a figure due out in July early.
But it seems like a lot of stuff is dropping now.

Yes this is true. I spoke to a Neca rep & they told me it's not licensed to sell outside of the US. I pointed out that many companies in Canada (& likely elsewhere) had been taking money up front pre-orders & they wanted me to provide a list of retailers who did so.

Soon after it disappeared from all the Canadian sites, hopefully everyone got there money back!

going off the NECA release calendar, which doesn't have him releasing for another week. When it comes to NECA, I generally go by their release calendar.

It looks like a partial fulfillment for BBTS as he is still showing Pre-Order.
