Probably stating the obvious, I think they're sprucing up the head sculpts in an attempt to bolster sagging sales.

Isn’t Jane’s head sculpt a new reveal? Before she was only shown with her helmet and a blurred out face. And Marvel Hot Toys sells like hot cakes in Asia so that’s not the reason for the sculpt updates. Usually they just do it ‘cause they feel like improving their craft, so for future releases they can charge more after they gain consumer confidence

Good point, and I posted my comment without checking in advance. Wow. I can understand people wanting the Spiderman figure, but Mighty Thor is sold out and waitlisted, even though that movie was crap! Somebody must have liked it!
