Due to licensing issues, this whole line just felt like a missed opportunity. I'd rather we get a NECA Godzilla than zero NECA Kaiju, but man... So much wasted potential...

I honestly wish the giant monster market wasn’t overwhelmingly controlled by Toho. After Toho characters, you get Kong, Cloverfield, Pacific Rim, and Cthulhu. Once you do those, anything else probably isn’t recognizable enough to be easily marketed.

There's Gamera, at least I don't remember Toho ever buying him. I know he was introduced as a Godzilla knock-off but he's a good monster in his own right and I wouldn't mind having some quality figures of him that aren't imports.

Gamera is owned by Kadokawa. They would totally get the license to Gamera as Kadokawa is not a nazi like Toho.

Yeah...was a sad day for Goji fans when NECA loss its license. For the money, You can't beat them for the quality and price.
The Goji Japanese Vinyl market; M1, Marmit, Murasan, CCP, etc...There Nice, There Cool and They can be expensive. Goji Japanese toys can be very expensive. Believe me I know. Neca did a really good job for the market they served. Seen the Playmates God-z Stuff???....Not good IMHO =^)

Forgot about Gamera. I could see a one-off release of that.

I really wish that NECA could make 12 inch tall versions like they did with 2015 Legendary Godzilla.
