I'll stick with the ML 3 Pack version. What would have tempted me (and what I think should come with Jean figures) is some sort of effect that can go around/attach to her head, since she is telekinetic and that's where her power comes from (not her hands).

So far the character choices from Sideshow Collectibles 1/6 figures has perfectly mirrored Mafex so, if by some further crazy coincidence, this means Jean will be next in the 1:6 line I’ll be a very happy bunny.

Since I missed the 3 pack version, this looks like a winner to me.
I'm definitely getting their Psylocke.

I like how shiny the blue parts are... one of the reasons why I still like Rocket Raccon wave Legends Jean Grey more than the 3 Pack Jean Grey.

yea, I agree, Jean Greys need head effects, or at least something that can hold something else, I imagine I'll have her levitating all the spare weapons in the collection, but some pink effect to hold the weapons would have been great, i think their magneto also has a similar issue, its got hand effects but needs something more...

I think mafex has now entered a place where it knows we're gonna buy what it puts out for whatever price it puts it out for and isn't trying as hard as it was before, whereas amazing Yamaguchi is still trying a whole lot harder which I appreciate.

I would have bought any of the MAFEX figures if they addressed the QC issues plaguing their figures.

Hmmmmmm, love Jean, but the faces don't look the best. She just looks kinda bored.

Regardless, I can't wait to see their eventual takes on Storm and Rogue.

I’m sure they got shot down/told off in Marvel approvals, but I would’ve liked an even sexier Jean, more Jim Lee.

Getting some anime-ish vibes from the unmasked head, not really sure what illustrations they were going off of here...

I've been buying almost all of the latest Mafex figures and their QC is good now. I haven't had any major issues in a long time with them.

You must be one of the few, because i have seen A LOT of people with snapped Superman joints, myself included. In just 2 days, with minimal use, the bottom knee joint snapped. Had to wait 3 months for a replacement leg (arrived a couple days ago) on top of 1 year and 9 months that the figure was delayed for originally. And now I keep him in the box cause I am too scared to do jack.

I mean, I ll buy her cause she looks alright but they sure could work a bit harder on delivering. Meanwhile, I do believe she could look sexier but at least she seems better looking compared to Catwoman. It looks like they cant get the female faces quite right, still.

I love Mafex, some of the best action figures I own are from them (Spider-Man, Hush Superman and Batman for example), but at $100 a pop I’m only buying my very favorite characters from them. I don’t think Jean Grey qualifies, and the Marvel Legends version is good enough for me.

Finally, a high end jean grey. Although like others have said, not the best.

Given other MAFEX offerings, I wonder if this portends other high end Jean Grey coming from other companies soon - they always seem to coincide with Mezco or Revoltech offerings

Hope those that really want this are fortunate and dont have any QC issues. I do have and liked MAFEX's DC offerings versus their Marvel with few exceptions...

Much like with their Psylocke definitely not 90's/Jim Lee enough for me. Face sculpt wise looks more of a Mary Jane than a Jean. Will continue to wait on.

Preordered this and Superman at HLJ. I wish Amazon Japan's preorder shipping price for Mafex's would go down. It's absurd now, like $40 per figure. But when they come into stock it's half that or less.

Can't wait for MAFEX's Psylocke. I have it preordered at BBTS.

Face-Sculpt BEYOND Awful, No TV Style Poneytail + Hair Wrong Style + Too Big, Costume Too Yellow. Aside from the "Telekinesis Effect" this figure is already a Colossal Disappointmemt and since so many Custom Artists and Manufacturers have ALREADY put-out VASTLY Superior Versions with Modified, Interchanged, and Custom Parts this is even more unacceptable.
