That was actually Peter Jacksons recreation of the scene based off photos and storyboards from the '33 Kong! Still a fun video! Supposedly the cut scene still existed til a fire in the RKO studios vault happened in the 50s

I know it's Peter Jackson's recreation, I just forgot to mention that part. It sucks that the original was apparently burned. That was an important piece of movie history.

That's why I'd like to see NECA toys of the Spider Pit monsters. They never got to take on Kong himself, but they could in toy form.
