From what I’ve seen RamenToys is crushing it with 3rd party accessories, I know they don’t have to pay for licensing like NECA or Hasbro but the officially-licensed stuff still seems ludicrously overpriced…

Personally I never got the appeal of diorama "playsets" in the first place.

They take up way too much space and cost too much just being hunks of plastic for me.

some insulation foam, paint and 3d printed parts you can make your own "playset" diorama for much less. obviously that being injection molding plastic it will be much durable but people will clearly just buy that for display.

These are just so big for displaying so few figures in them. Not to mention the cost with shipping and tax. The street diorama on the other hand….a third of the cost and can host any of the figures you want.

Isn’t it generally the case that the prototype with these figures is supposed to be the best version and production ends up being a downgrade? Or is this something they are actually still working on with regard to the design?
