This clarifies the retail or not thing, as well as that they are "open" pre-orders - the way it was worded before says they will take preorders until that date, but adding "open" makes me feel better about holding off for a hot minute or two, worried they might sell out early or something.

I definitely want at least one of them, if not more - but if this is the kind of stuff they will be dropping this month, I would rather do a big order at once. I'm really hoping for some other sets to make a reappearance as well.
Does anyone know if they charge for preorders at the time of ordering or when they ship?

What's lame about it? What difference does it make if you buy it at Target or off NECA's site?

I dont have the money for it right now. I don't want to create a NECA website account. I don't want to pay for shipping.

Apparently, Kidrobot Beetlejuice plushies turned up in Haulathon sections at some Targets. I guess that was it.

I'm glad I don't care about Krampus unlike a bunch of other collectors that have been clamoring for this figure for 2+ years ever since it was first revealed by NECA. That $100 price for it is absurd. That should be a $50 figure at most. This makes me dread what they'll charge for that bigger scale TMNT Krang shown last year. Probably $200-250. NECA seems to be imposing their ridiculously high TMNT sewer diorama pricing scale across other products now.

The face sculpts on Krampus are some of the best they've ever done. I'd pay upwards of $60 for that figure. $100? They must be smoking what Donnie is cooking up in his $300 lab.

I think we are reaching the end of the action figure collectibles market. These prices are insane and not sustainable. Honestly how much more plastic crap can us 30-50 year olds shove in our homes.

On a positive note, they look cool.lol.

Couldn't agree more.

I'm a big fan of the movie and the creature designs from it. A month ago I thought I would have bought everything from it but now I can't even do the $100 Krampus. I wonder if this means that standard figures will get a price bump too.

With prices going up on everything I'm sure this is only the beginning

Good thing I don't care about Krampus.

Give me some Hammer horror figures like Karis, Frankenstein, and the Monster.

Overpriced, yes. But more than that, I'm resolved to get away from the horror stuff generally. We've got enough trouble in the world without throwing money away on Hollywood horror.

Man. I wad so excited to add Krampus to my horror shelf. I've been waiting for more info on it since they first announced it. And now I'll be skipping it completely. $100 is completely ridiculous. I'd pay $60 at absolute most, and that would be pushing it. Very disappointing. Seems like NECA has finally given in to the greed and will be pricing themselves out of my range from now on.

Wow, was holding off on making my order for the F13th set hoping they would do this one - but those prices. I was kind of shocked they were doing the F13th one so inexpensively, but I'm shocked at this one - are these the original prices when they came out like F13th seems to be?

I swear the furnace was $69.99 when it was released, but maybe I'm nuts.

What is up with these reissues being exclusive to their website and needing to be ordered by a hard date?

Not everyone can just drop their set budgets to accomodate these sudden reissues.

NECA's store offers Paypal and Shop as payment options, and for orders over $50 both of those services usually offer the option to pay in installments. Both the F13 and Elm Street sets would exceed that so there is a solution for you that doesn't involve dropping all the cash at once, just budgeting over the next few months.

Edited to add: Just to make sure I went to NECA's site and added a couple of Turtle figures to may cart, selected Paypal as the payment, and I was given the option to either pay in full immediately or Pay in 4, so NECA does allow payment plans through the payment services. I know Amazon does the same with Affirm, and BBTS does it through Sezzle.
