Last I heard she was knocked to third tier supporting character. If that's still true you'd have a better chance at a Lucius fox figure

I don't understand this either. They gave us some crappy ass one shot super Lane version but not a regular version.

Nitelife, you say she isn't interesting, but she has far more personality than the likes of Bwana Beast, Jason Todd, Bane, Hourman, Mr Terrific, and Penguin.

Ill give ya bwanna beast ( kinda a tarzany version of animal man but in a luchador mask and curtain loin cloth haha ) and hourman but jason todd actually developed into a real character ( once they explained thebterrible re-introduction frpm infinite crisis wasnt how he really came back....thank god). Lois....just seems as useful as jimboy olsen....just a character whos usefulness has come n gone...kinda like a news paper.

I completely agree that there should be a modern Lois Lane figure. It's like never getting a proper Alfred Pennyworth or Commissioner Gordon to go with your Bat Family. I understand that she probably wouldn't be a popular character at mass retail like Wal-Mart or Target, but DC Direct/DC Colectibles has produced figures for many more obscure characters and Mattel had a Subscription Club for characters that wouldn't work at retail and a website where she could have been sold as an exclusive. It's a shame that the current Superman books don't feature Lois more prominently like they did in the past, because she can be a good character. I think the problem is the editors and writers at DC now.

Here's a few pics of a Custom Lois Lane I made a while back.

great job on the custom. It could easily be mistaken for a DC direct figure.

Thanks! She's a kit bash of DCUC Zatanna and Mary Marvel. Zatanna is pretty tall for a DCUC figure so that helps her fit in with the slightly taller DC Direct figures.

To be honest, if I could choose any version of Lois to be made in toy form, it would be this one:

I just thought this movie did an excellent job of combining the elements from all of the different aspects of Lois in it.

Ha! Ha! I assume that is from the Justice League: God's and Monsters movie. I haven't seen it yet, but I might pick it up if/when I can find a copy for $10 or less. My favorite version of Lois is the Teri Hatcher version from the first season or two of Lois and Clark. She looked great and was pretty bad ass at first. She wasn't always just a damsel in distress and would put up a fight against the baddies until things got too hairy and Supes eventually showed up. WB forced the writers to have Lois and Clark get in a relationship sooner than they planned because they were getting married in the comics at the time. At least that's the story I heard. After that, the show became even more of a soap opera and Lois went from being strong and independent to mopey and more reliant on Superman. I also liked the Animated Series version with Dana Delaney too.

I thought it was great. The guy that voices Superman (I don't remember his name) was really good.

It was pretty good. Not as good as Superman vs The Elites, but way better than Doomsday and All-Star. It also remembered to not be boring.

Those Animated DC movies are all over the place. The Dark Knight Returns, Under The Red Hood, Flashpoint and Wonder Woman were stand-outs for me. All-Star Superman and the Superman/ Batman movies were duds IMO. Justice League: Doom, Justice League: War and New Frontier were okay, but not spectacular. I usually wait until I can find them marked down to buy them so I'm always behind and sometimes I miss out completely.

Back on topic: Lois Lane deserves to get her own figure. :-D

My top favorite is The Spectre Showcase short.

However, it depends. The movies used to be pretty solid for the most part until freaking JL War. After that, they are a mess. Assault on Arkham and Gods and Monsters are the only ones since War that have been actually good.

My favorites movies though (excluding the shorts) are Green Lantern First Flight, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman Under the Red Hood, Wonder Woman, Crisis on Two Earths, and Flashpoint. Superman vs The Elites is quite good too, but the design for Superman is questionable. It looks like he devoured Rush Limbaugh.

Here's a WWE Stephanie McMahon figure I just picked up at Walmart. You could use her as a Lois Lane figure to go with your Superman Family. She's probably a little too tall to fit in with DC Universe Classics figures, but I bet she'd fit in with 7 inch scale DC Direct/DC Collectibles. You could also use her as a base for a custom street clothes Talia Al Ghul or as a Selena Kyle since it's so close to what she's was wearing in Batman Eternal. Hope it helps somebody!

Or give her a 90's strawish hat and with that face sculpt she could be blossom...

The Spectre Showcase was terrific for one of their shorts, Gary Cole fit quite nicely for the role. When it comes to animated Batman movies there's plenty of love for Dark Knight Returns and Under the Red Hood but my favorite definitely goes to Mask of the Phantasm. Of course the animation shows its age but there's still tons of charm in the style itself and the voice acting holds up rather well. The story is where Phantasm shines especially in seeing some of Batman's origin that isn't his parents getting shot and developing a romance you can actually kind of invest in.

Ha! Ha! You're right. I don't follow wrestling at all, but I always keep an eye out for WWE figures that look like they would make for good custom fodder. This figure is actually one of the better looking female WWE figures I've ever seen. Most of the time they look like trolls. I'm still pretty happy with my custom Lois Lane figure, so I think I'll turn this figure into a custom She-Hulk in her lawyer duds.

I agree, Mask of the Phantasm is excellent! I went to go see it on Christmas Day with my family and I have always loved it.

I am super excited to be getting a new Phantasm figure coming in the Batman Animated line of figures, but I have always wondered why they never brought Phantasm into the comic universe. They brought in Harley Quinn, Lock-Up, and I think a couple others. I would love to see Phantasm be brought into the Arkham or regular Comic universe, perhaps with a little updated armor/outfit.

But I am still convinced that the character of Phantasm is some kind of basis for the character Hush. Hush is one of my favorite Batman stories ever. But if you think about it the Hush/ Tommy Elliot character mirrors Phantasm/ Andrea Beaumont in a lot of ways. Both knew Bruce in his youth, both come back into Bruce's life as adults, both end up being Villains in the end that try to hurt Bruce, and both know that he is Batman. One of these days I want to ask Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee about it.

Andrea never tried to hurt Bruce she just wanted him to stay out of her way. I don't know if I'd consider her a "villain." All she did was off a few mobsters. Not much different than Punisher.

As for the comics they've brought Phantasm into the Batman Beyond comics but I don't know who's under that cool mask.
