I wondered about that too. Putting tiny animal feet on a four-legged dog alien is one thing; putting them on a 2-legged figure seems like a dangerous gamble, where the collectible market is concerned.

From SDCC 18' we already saw a prototype of the body of this figure with the points of articulation so I doubt we'll have much of an issue from standing it up to pose.

this. design wise it doesn't make any sense.

I heard sir Ben Kingsley is gonna pop out of the hulked out predator and play a cheeky British guy for a truly shocking twist... turns out the super predator was just an imbecile actor playing the head of the predators ... a little Shane black treatment!

Articulation is not the issue, it’s the tiny surface area for the feet on this big, top-heavy figure that will not keep it standing. There is clearly a big glob of adhesive under both feet in that image.

NECa is in a tough position. If they make it less accurate but more stable people will complain, but if they make it ultra accurate it'll probably need a stand to stay upright. I normally don't defend NECA (though I love thier products for the most part) but I cant see any other options here

I was underwhelmed by the initial shots of this figure, but the design has grown on me and now that I have it in-hand? The figure is indeed pretty bad-ass, and I'm glad it's in my collection now. Holy shit, it feels like it's been forever since I've had a new Predator figure to buy...

BTW, much like any NECA release, the QC is all over the place, mainly on the mask paint. If you have the chance to buy this at retail like I did, please do so. I had to do some looking, but I managed to find one in really good shape.

I really wish NECA would use the same ankles they used on the 2017 Pennywise on their Preds going forward, the balljointed ankles just can't work with most of the poses I wanna hit!

I have no interest in the Assassin (honestly, why is he called that? It doesn't fit the character very well) since I was not a fan of the movie but this figure could have some cool reuses down the line. Maybe he could serve as a base body for Kenner's cancelled four-armed Predator.

The movie was terrible. I couldn't believe that is what Shane Black made. Everyone was bad, every plot point...every Hollywood agenda was awful.

I understand NECA must, but the movie was an abomination. I will probably get the Predator as I love movie stuff. Despite that movie, NECA will get my money easily.

But, the Predator franchise is done imo. Of course they will try again, but without machismo, camaraderie, brutality, build-up, suspense, the franchise is in pieces.

Much like Star Wars, I cannot see fans returning for another.

After finally getting over all the negative reviews and posts and taking time to watch The Predator myself, I found it surprisingly enjoyable- not a "good" movie by any stretch but no better or much worse than most other Predator movies- I went right out and picked up the Fugitive to add to my collection and I'm looking forward to finding someplace for this behemoth... Definitely going to need to clear some space though.

The Predator was dogshit. It made the AVP movies seem like classic cinema.

Still don't understood why they never went with Dutch's brother for a sequel. He was in like 5 or 6 comics they could pull from.

SpikedTail preparing to send 'The Fugitive' to earth with a technological boost that would allow them fight back against the thirst of the Upgrade Tribe that are threatening to "Overfish" the humans in search of raw genetic material...

The "smelting" slime pit may have to go once the Assassin Predator gets released. Can't wait for that guy!

I love that Riddick!
Since Engineers and Predators aren't buddies, you won't find many of them hanging out on the shelf together- but if you look close you can see Ahab has a trophy helmet- and head- of one of those dirty architects
